Nice rifle! I'm not seeking a tutorial, but I am curious, how did you know what all of the functioning components were supposed to look like? Did you have an actual Mauser on hand to take apart and inspect, or did you find blueprints somewhere? I want to try crafting a Gewehr 91 (Karabiner version of the Gew88), but I can't find any references to help me make the internal parts.

@victor222444 When I make barrels, I get the closest size piece of dowel or metal tubing and then its just as simple as layering. If you're looking at how thick the barrel is, the general rule is 2.5x larger than the diameter of the bullet.

@victor222444 yes this barrel has rifling in it. ( I assumed thats what you meant with grooves )
and if you have trouble taking the barrel of the dowel try giving it some candle wax.
