  • I was working 1 Year in London and i loved it. The only thing that sucks are the drunk sluty girlies

  • I love London, my Aunty and cousins live there! I used to go there really frequently but then trains got really expensive, because I'm from cornwall in the south west of England.

Everyone visit Cornwall, and Hayle which is where abouts in Cornwall I'm from! It's beautiful! -3

  • @cuteascupcakes88 I love London too i go twice a year or as often as i can.i live in Oslo though:( i would also like to visit Cornwall maybe this summer.

  • con rapido volteggio e (agile piroetta) ci si dirige a Paddington

  • I've been there!!! I love London <333 :D

  • 20 years ago london was great and you could experience a street full of just british people and not an immigrant in sight. It was nice to be able to walk down the street without having to see immigrants and listen to the sound of their voices.

  • @210482fmj Yes indeed. There are no English people anywhere in London. They have all been driven out.

  • @210482fmj Tough titties. Go suck on some. We're here and going nowhere. More of us will come and we'll multiply. We'll live the way we want trampling on the so called british way of life. Go cry in a corner.

  • @lexsite NOt a chance.

  • Picadilly...Times Square....Tokyo.....same difference.

  • I Love London!! ..its amazing, Most of my family live there so i go a lot but i live in the north of England in Newcastle!

Living in London is like winning the lottery as far as im concerned.

  • @gamblemadman ...london is full of ignorant childish cockney twats...

  • @HOMEnHIGH Yup ... its got lots of them. And also lots of well-informed, mature people from all walks of life. In other words London has got everything and everyone .... the world in one city. A cultural melting pot.

I love it and I wouldn't live anywhere else if you paid me ... I guess we all got opinions, but unless you live or have lived there you're opinion means very little to me.

    Cheers.

  • @gamblemadman ...good point...love you maan

  • I was in London for 3 months and I love it ... London is gorgeous ... amazing ... in 2010 i went to USA ... I visit New York, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, but London is the best !!!

  • everybody knows new york city around the world than london

  • new york city is bigger and better than london period

  • @mikebury2002 That Sir is YOUR opinion and you are entitled to it I would however disagree with it.

As a Londoner born and bred I have to say London comes out tops in every way.

But both London and New York are great Cities

  • o just shut up

  • i miss this alot :( i have to go back to london i really love london

  • I was one week in London and I love this city the there are so great and therre are ots of beautiful ladys :P

  • Yeah, I was there at April :-)

  • @blinkamericanpie In terms of urban city area, London is actually a lot bigger than New York.

  • @whitbyjet65 of course you guys have a bigger urban city, we build tall while you guys expand out.

  • @gamextreme23 Fair comment. Both are great cities.

  • ha! i work at that boots, come say hello :D

  • omg...if that is at NIGHT, wtf is it at daylight?? not in a thousand years i wanna live there!

  • Ok I have a question I am going in June. Is this place worth going to?? Please help. Thank you!

  • @aacosta311 it is worth going there, its in the heart of London and there are lots of shops ans arcades nearby. Usually youngsters hang around in these areas. Plus Oxford Street and China Town are right next to it. These places are worth going to..

  • @Ladygorgeous12

    Thank you!

  • Oh, how they smeeel, wee Saint Jimmy (two below) and good heaven's what bitches those women are. Thankfully, I imagine your in a nice safe place at mother's house, where you can get your din-dins, a nice chuckle under your chin and your washing done.

  • ...Well, it is just a traffic junction really, isn't it? not a place to hang about.

  • shiit london

    everywhere rubbisshhh..

    black people smeelling bad...

    every woman bitch..

  • @TheSaintJimmy1 ...where you from? London is Amazing, so every woman is a bitch eh? maybe you smell, hence no female would come near you :)

  • prefer soho and covent garden at night... picadilly is exciting... but where's the circus? xD

  • @XxXAngelOfPainXxX Many London squares are usually called circuses...

  • @Kunimoh, lol, I know, it was a jk, :)

  • 5 mother fuckers didn t like the video....and by the way: you can´t stay more than 37 minutes in Picadilly Circus without finding somebody you know

  • No London is no.1

  • @blinkamericanpie Cool despite all I've said i don't hate Americans i like America which is going to sound silly considering all I've just said. I like Americans like you but in the 90's America was the grand canyon Vegas Hollywood now its George Bush Guantanamo bay terrorism watch list. And on my own subjective opinion India is the greatest country in the world the contrast between modernity and ancient rich and poor culture heritage is exhilarating that's how i measure greatness not GDP

  • @blinkamericanpie London =250 languages. London is no:2 ?? based on what measures?? amenities and financial institutions?? these arent true gauges on anything although the toilets in NY do have a better flush. To say new york has anywhere near the depth of culture as london is an insult. London has done its time and its all around you. NY tries to make up for no heritage by tall buildings and at first glance its impressive but london keeps you interested a lot longer its got stories to tell.

  • Europe isn't a country though is it. And by the only measure that matters you are the biggest debtor nation in the world and your figures are completely wrong because if you take in to account unfunded health care and welfare liabilities your debt goes to way over 60 trillion which is 30 times more than you generate in tax revenues per year. European health care expenditures are accounted. Recently American foreign policy has been oppressive OK the UK has something to answer for there as well

  • The problem with Americans is they take the things they are 'number 1' in i.e wealth (biggest debtor nation in the world Google it) and military might (oppressors) and because their cities have no history, claim tall buildings make a city great. And then claim these are the only measures by which greatness should be determined. Americas 'achievements' are paradoxical positives derived from the same thing sending their economy in to the abyss aggressive capitalism and an ethical over reach. USA

  • Comment removed

  • @blinkamericanpie The crossroads of the world??? More languages and more nationalities in london than any other city in the world. But you do have tall buildings

  • @blinkamericanpie Time sqaure has brighter lights picadilly circus, leicester square has unparalleled beautiful architecture that a 'tall building' cant compete with. London is the birth place of EVERY ENGLISH SPEAKING WESTERN CULTURE. The original big city often imitated (cough cough) never duplicated. NY is great though but it really doesnt have the same depth of character as london because it is so young and the grid pattern lay,so repetative, you seen one street you seen them all

  • You all a bunch of cuunts!

  • i don't like London....sorry but i have been living here for 10 years now and yes it is good in some ways but the rest it's just messed up....if you go to west end then yh it's cool but there are parts in London that are best to be avoided. If you ever come here for holiday, i suggest you go and stay in the safe side ;)

    just some advise :)

  • narrow avenues

  • @RailtourTom45407

What's stunning about tacky neon adverts?

  • There are too many foreigners in London.

  • I love London! It's my favorite city in the world (besides New York)!!!!

  • I LOVE LONDON ! WANNA LIVE THERE IN A FEW OF YEARS ! :D

  • @HrvatiicaDoGroba i'm thinking the same!!!!:D

  • @HrvatiicaDoGroba Yeah Hackney is beautiful..

  • @artwel123 - I wonder if there are more people who get this special feeling by wlaking trough the streets of London at night ? I'm just so in love, I just can't get enough of this beauty.. wish I would/could live there right now & celebrate new years eve there.. it would just be incredible.. can't wait till 2014 when i'm studying in Cambridge I swear I'll go to London 3x a week.. sorry for telling so much, im just .. in love like I said before :))

    1. Tokyo - Tokyo is first because it's clean and they got new techs and less crime

    2. NewYork - Ny is 2nd bc its the richest country in the world but high crime plus litter

    3. London is 3rd, high crime rate - gun and knife crime plus Econimic crysis and litter

  • @ndubzishere NEWYORK IS NOT A COUNTRY

  • @ndubzishere

    lmao you're a fucking idiot.

  • @ndubzishere

  • I miss London so much!

  • WHATT A AMAZING ¡¡ PLACE .now i have a friend there..I envy her

  • itom it is a fact that for most recent years london has been the number on finance centre. However the reality is that in finance, fashion, retail, theatre etc there is little or nothing between London and NY. They are effectively equal.

  • Reminds me of Times Square, New York

  • I was there one month ago and LOVED IT (L)

London, the best city in the world (L)

  • which was it o'clock?

  • hi i´m from germany ,i must do a presentation about the piccadilly circus in english this video is so good.......

before i see this video i´ve think the piccadilly cirkus is a circus with clowns and so........ but now i know what it is thanx foe this video..

sorry when i can´t speak so good english

  • @itom85 London is one of the three command centres for global economy. The other two are NY and Tokyo. Btw Tokyo is better in Industrial, NY is of course best in stock market and London, the banking capital of the world so please do not prove that u r stupid!

  • You got that straight from wikipedia.

Do you know how I know that? Cause I fucking WROTE that section of the aritcle. Check the discussion page. Yes, so I'm stupid.

  • bloomberg(dot)com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aEC0OYmvvcZM

this was published only FIVE months ago by bloomberg, a very well known company.

i dare you to find anything newer that contradicts it. of course i already know you wont.

  • dude i could show you 1000 magazines that say new york is number 1, incuding the economist. and guess what, they are actually new articles.

take a look at the dates of your so called references, i gaurentee non of them are newer then 2007. and if they are, they most likey are miss informed.

  • London is the worlds financial capital, the UK kicked the U.S out of number 1 spot as the finical capital of the world. Search it on Google. Get over it. Thanks :D

  • London is the worlds financial capital

    ---Incorrect

UK kicked the U.S out of number 1 spot as the finical capital of the world

    --- ...Uh.. What?

Search it on Google. Get over it. Thanks :D

---I did. Not one of the articles state it as fact, they all end in a "?" as in "is london the words financial center?" Oh and btw, all these articles? 3 to 4 years old. LOL.

  • all in all dude, your comments have made me lose faith in humanity.. They are by far the dumbest, most incorrect pieces of shit I have ever responded to. Not ONE thing you said was right. Not ONE.

Frankly, im stunned. Even idiots I debate with get at LEAST one thing right. O.o

  • What things did I get wrong? London is the worlds financial capital. the UK DID kick the U.S out of number 1 spot for finance. It is a fashion capital, along with New York City. AND I meant NYC has a small population compared to Asian cities. AND I also meant to say the USA is the fourth/third alrgest by popualtion. So, who is an idiot? O.O

  • Youre serious? Dude. You're STILL getting things wrong. the UK is NOT the number one spot for finance, are you on crack? Can you link me to any material that says anything remotely like that? EVERY MAJOR FINANCE COMPANY IS AMERICAN, barring a select few.

NYC DOES NOT have a small population compared to ANY city. Its population of 8.4 million is only 5 million less then the largest city proper in the world, and it's metro area is ranked FOURTH.

  • It does have a small population compared to Mumbai, or some asian city like that. It's meto population is tiny compared to Tokyo. Dude, you're trying to make out like NYC is heaven on earth, but it isn't, neither is London, so you really gotta stop.

  • New York does NOT have a small population compared to mumbai. mumbai has 13 million, new york has 8. How is that "not close" the only city that it's no where close to is Tokyo, and tha'ts only if you count it's metro population of 35 million compared to new yorks 20 million.

YOU need to stop man. And what's my point? I didnt start this as a NY vs LONDON debate, i started it cause you threw all these incorrect statments at me and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

  • I'm gonna use your "one article doesn't make it true" logic here against you. I found the article, but I also found 1000 other conflicting articles on the same topic. Some claim AUSTRALIA is number 1.

btw. "The poll will fuel the ongoing debate as to whether London or New York is the best place to do business for financial communities, amid recent reports that a growing number of hedge funds are moving to New York due to lighter regulation." <--- lol

  • New York still isn't the capital of finance. Sure, it's a major financial centre, but it isn't the capital of anything. Not one thing.

  • Dude...London was NEVER the capital of finance. In fact, statistically, it's the capital of nothing besides Great Britian. PLEASE do some research, I could link you to 1000 articles that state NEW YORK is the financial capital. London COULD of passed NEw York in 10 years had the economy not collapsed, but it did.. and New York recovered faster then the EuroZone, cementing its status of the capital of finance, I even linked an article somewere below me. LOOK IT UP

  • London isn't in the Euro Zone. search "Britain overtakes US as financial captial" Britain over-took the U.S as the financial capital of the world. New York isn't some frickin mecca thats the capital of absolutley everything. Just because an artical says it is, doesn't mean it's true. Actually, there is no financial capital of the world, unless someone gets oficial statistics. New York is not the capital of anything, not even the United States.

  • @itom85

"It's the capital of nothing besides Great Britian.PLEASE do some research"

Great Britain doesn't have a capital, stop now, you're digging yourself into a hole.

  • England Capital: London

    Great Britians Largest city London

The only hole i'm digging is under you.

  • @itom85

Look dude, I'm not going to argue with you about something which is common knowledge, it's like arguing that grass is not green, you can make points, but you're not going to prove anyone wrong.

  • @theunderone1 its interesting that you resort to spell correcting so fast.. thats usually someoned last resort after losing an argument.

  • @theunderone1 its sad when what a brit believes is common knowledge about his own country isnt totally correct and is educated by an american....

  • @itom85

Look, go on google and type in "Capital of Britain" or "what is the Capital of Britain?"

There is no Capital, don't bother replying, you think that New York is the Capital of the U.S, you have already proven that you're uneducated.

Any messages from you now will get deleted, go and troll somewhere else.

  • From Wikipedia:

"London's status as the capital of England, and later the United Kingdom, ... making its status as de facto capital a part of the UK's unwritten constitution.

The City of Westminster in London had become the de facto capital by the ... as the capital of the Kingdom of England, then the Kingdom of Great Britain"

    You're a moron.

  • @theunderone1 Ahhhhh! To stop this...London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom!!! Are you to lazy to look on Wikipedia? Btw, I typed in "Capital of Britain" in Google and it said London, London was in every result. Please atleast look on Wikipedia and READ. If you tell me that it still isn't after you read...then you are just trying to act smart. (Resources: Wikipedia, Google, Bing, INTERNET, Friend who lives in London.)

  • @Darceyler

Great Britain has 3 Capitals, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh, they are the 3 Capitals of the 3 Countries, Scotland, Wales and England.

The U.K has a Capital, London.

Why is it so hard for people to understand the difference between the United Kingdom and Great Britain?

Britain and the U.K are NOT interchangeable.

  • @theunderone1 Ok. Whatever.

  • @Darceyler

    ;)

  • @itom85

For the love of God spell Britain right, you have said "britian" about 8 times.

  • @theunderone1 london is the de facto capital of the british union. look up what de facto means. oh and im not going to argue with you either.

  • making this up? how am i making this up? new york has been the capital of art since world war 2. the capital of media, as welkl, since every major media corporation is based there. i mean really this is common knowledge. london has been made fun of for its food for the last decade as well

why did you write 3 responses? is your head so far up londons ass that you cant see the truth?

  • @itom85 just to educated you, the art capital of the world is Paris.

  • @itom85 The US has dirty streets and rude loud people that don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. I've been to the States and to Europe and I wouldn't live in the states if it was the last place on earth.

  • @diamonddust22 I would say the exact thing about filthy nasty europe or england. GO USA!

  • @jeevanirajiv Europe isnt filthy. I can see you havent been there

  • Trouble with the U.S.A is that there in there own bubble they get told all this in there schools.they think nothings worth knowing out side of the U.S.A i wouldnt pick on him for that its really not is fault. Its American Schools fault to be honest. They think they made every. but if you go back into history its all european at the end of the day. they claim the phone for example but didnt john graham bell British who went to america to invest is idea? fast food too? hamburgers german???????

  • @itom85 I'll take your statement and say that New York equals a garbage can compared to London. I'd rather be in London England the the USA anyday of the week.

  • And the U.S has a relativly small population compared to Asian cities, no where near 4th biggest. I would say Paris is the capital of Art. the USA has a a GDP of over a trillion, not New York, are you fucking stupid. Also, London is a fashion and art capital.

  • the USA has a a GDP of over a trillion, not New York,

---.....My god.. No. Nono >.> The us has a gdp over 14 TRILLION.. New York city, along with Tokyo, are the only cities in the world with GDP's over a trillion.

London is a fashion and art capital.

---LMAO, wait you just said PARIS was.. Now London is? And fasion? Ever hear of Madison Avenue?... Are you serious?

  • And, London is a fashion capital, Look it up on Wikipedi,a Paris is also a fashion capital, as is Milan and New York City. London is home to many fashion companies. You're not making any point here, are you?

  • Yes, fine. London is "a" hub of finance, "a" fasion capital... I really wouldnt call it a hub for art though, but I'll give it finance and fasion. However, again, new york leads london in both those catagories. I'm really not making up stats dude.

Yes, fine. London is "a" hub of finance, "a" fasion capital... I really wouldnt call it a hub for art though, but I'll give it finance and fasion. However, again, new york leads london in both those catagories. I'm really not making up stats dude.

  • Milan leads New York in fashion though. Okay, maybe we can agree to disagree, NYC and London are both major cities, the only A++ cities in the world. Is that okay?

  • it was never about agreeing or disagreeing. It was just me trying to get you to understand that a bunch of things you heard or thought about london's status was totally incorrect. its actually not your fault.., most britians also beleive these false "stats".

Anywho fine. I'll leave it at that.

  • Like most Americans believe their country is the best damned thing that ever existed. Goodbye my friend. Nice talking with you.

  • My god. No. America's population is ranked THIRD in the world, not FOU-- seriously? You're joking right? This is a joke right?

  • Comment removed

  • " and since about a year ago, it took back its crown from New York as the financial center of the world."

I just have to say something here. That's totally incorrect. The raw numbers currently show new york is still leading. In fact, there has never been a concrete report to prove new york WASNT leading.

Most of the reports claiming london was now over new york were false, or pro-london propoganda... strangley right before the olympics were chosen,

  • Okay. London is amazing. And I personally think it is waaayyyy more beautiful than Paris, which ive been visiting since i was very small.. But each one has its point of view still.

Thanks for the video, i love it ;)

  • Agreed The 2 cities you mentioned are wthout peers. First or second is debatable. However talented people in all walks of life dream of a piece of NYC whether it's Wall Street - Fashion Avenue- Metroplitan Opera- NYC ballet - Broadway- Owning a NY Restaurant-training at Julliard School of Music- etc. etc. These are the loftiest goals motivated people from ALL over the world aspire to.Conquer NYC and you've reached the zenith. Yes- many end up in London-The DREAM is East of the Hudson.

  • I respect and appreciate your love for London You should be proud of your museums -your publishing- your financial institutions -your auction houses/galleries- your fashion- theater etc.

  • used to be the worlds leading city in the 19th century. Don't get me wrong- London is a world class city . I would love to visit this [yours?] great city. Truly remarkable institutions/structures and the people have a civility and wry wit about them you don't see in our major US cities. But its dominance in most things was overtaken probably in the early 20th century. You assume the rest.

  • I love england ! AND English people !

  • LONDON - THE ENGLISH BEAUTY!

  • @Pali071273
