The Devils have used this song since their arrival in Jersey in 1982. Hell, they used it before that when they were still in Colorado.

Actually, the Colorado Rockies (NJ Devils) were the FIRST North American Sports Franchise to use this as a fight song.

Also note that we started saying "You Suck" before the Isles fans, too. We started saying that against the Rangers in 2006, and I have never heard the Isles fans doing it before that.

Now that you mention it, the Devils first goal horn was a high pitched whistle, they did adopt the one in 1995 until they changed the uniforms to include the black.

@youlovebrandon I has been a College fight song I think for Maryland for years and years, well before the Devils or Islanders started to use it. But if I had to bet, I would say the Isles fans did it first since I watch both teams like a nut and have since 1984.

The Devils should bring their old horn from the CAA back, it was unique and sounded pretty cool, just my two cents on that.
