The BEST Turbine Powered Racing Boat, I have ever seen. The first clip I saw of a Jet-turbine powered boat was pathetic, it was the slowest thing I saw with a turbine engine. It was a white boat with JET-A27 or something like that on the side of it, on a deep vee style boat, & it had a huge turbine engine on the mid-inside rear of the boat.This Budweiser Racing Boat SMOKED it all the way.GREAT JOB!

The boat is not mine, it belonged to the gentleman you see starting it. I filmed this run in Orlando Florida in January 07. I can tell you he was going light on the throttle. I would guess it was running around 60mph with more to go!

@modelgasboats Theres a fella named Jurgen Kuhler in Florida, who makes Budweiser hydros and he said that a 1/8th scale is too small but he recommends a 1/6th scale, cause these engines are too powerful, plus a bigger hull allows for more fuel capacity, thus longer running times. I ordered a marine gas turbine set up from a company in Florida and I have a 1/8th Miss. Budweiser thats never been ran. What do you recommend? Buy the bigger 1/6th? Do they make a 1/5 scale Miss. Budweiser?
