One thing I wanted to point out though: Alouette was in Ciel's room with Ciel and the baby elves, right? How come Alouette said to the operators "I can't get to Ciel's room without going through here?" at 2:53 when she was just in Ciel's room? I'm a little confused about that.
@SoulAura777 I figured she was coming back from Ciel's room, which would still require her to go through the operators' room. Though, the question then is why didn't the operators stop her when she was going there in the first place. Maybe they're not facing the door and they've just gotten in the habit of looking to see who's coming and going (the way that room is laid out in-game might contradict that theory; I can't really remember what it looks like). Anyway, thanks for watching!
@Eclipse5632 Re: the room layout, the corridor is more or less perpendicular to their lines of sight. They're on a platform of some kind though, and the corridor seems to be quite close to its base, so they might actually have to stand up to see what goes on in the corridor.
Wow...for one thing, this really gives the operators personality we don't see in the games...what it really feels like listening to Andrew (note his part alone is a HUGE chunk of the track)...and turns out Zero's not exactly good with kids. Then again, can't blame a guy who's got centuries worth of messes in his circuits.
@SuraidaChan Thanks for watching! I was looking at your deviantART account last night, actually. You do some really nice art. Good luck on your Mega Man Tribute submissions! =)
Ironically, the Baby Elves end up helping Weil's plans and attempt to kill Zero twice. They may look adorable, but deep inside I've always seen Crea and Prea as annoying little bastards.
@EvilPandamonium It would've break her heart to hear Zero about killing them, & Alouette will beat him up. (Same goes for SuperSketch2008.) I'd wonder if Capcom can make prequels for Mega Man Zero series or possibly Ciel as a backstory for a new Mega Man title to fill up for Zero & ZX series. I'll call it Mega Man Ciel. Who wants that to happen in the future.
I believe the Japanese names are Créer and Prier, instead of Crea and Prea, since that ties into what is actually being said. It goes with the MMZ thing of French names, after all, since they mean "to create" and "to pray" respectively. I know you're probably just going with the english names since that's all most of us know, but maybe it would be good to include a little note about that somewhere. ;P
@EmpressRyuura Yeah, I struggled with whether to use the "correct" names or what was used in the localizations (for both the baby elves and the name Rocinolle/Rossignol) but I decided to use the official English names to avoid confusion. I guess I'll add a note about that in the description. Thanks for commenting! =)
You're very welcome! :D But as for your description, I don't think Harpuia would translate to Harpy unless you were going to translate Greek too, would it? Might as well call Rouge and Jaune "Red and Yellow" and Alouette "Lark" in that case. XD
@EmpressRyuura I like to look at it from the perspective of how I think the Japanese players would read it. While the Japanese word "harupyuia" is an approximation of the Greek word "harpuia," it is also their word for harpy. When they hear "harupyuia" they think of a harpy, not that it's some name that might be from another language. However, the Japanese words for red, yellow, and lark aren't derived from French so it wouldn't make sense to translate those names into English.
Seeing as how they make a lot of references to other languages and how no one's name in those games actually seems to be derived from Japanese, I don't think it's unlikely that they did in fact want to use the Greek name. XD I had no idea it was the same word in Japanese tho, so thanks for telling me!~ :D
At least that iffy translation is better than screwing up Créer and Prier, or using Fefnir when the name is so obviously supposedly to be Fafnir. x.x
@EmpressRyuura I didn't know that harpuia was the Greek name for harpy either, so I guess we both learned something. =) But yeah, I can't believe they got Créer and Prier wrong, considering how many other French names there are in MMZ.
5:35 Zero would be in the middle of a wall in dysis ruins? ummm.....that would be interesting to see lol
11:28 i thought Zero was gonna be like andrew and start telling stories for a moment
11:58 pffft love what she called Zero XDDD
i'm kinda curious on whether or not rouge and jaune argue like that all the time. if they did, that'd be entertaining to watch
