I'd say maximum preformance takeoff, for the F-16, with it's 1.2:1 Thrust-to-weight ratio, would be a rotate at 150KIAS and straight into the verticle at 160KIAS, and while the aircraft is verticle, it'll keep accelerating. That's a fine piece of engineering you got there America.
@greendaysaint8302 The F-22 exceeds 1:1 thrust-to-weight ratio like pretty much all 4th and 5th gen fighters fighters. Before you bring it up, I think that the F-35 should die in a fire and we should bring the Raptor program back.
@crewchief1949 I completely agree some capabilities should be kept secret, like avionics and electronics. However the F16 airframe is a 35+ year old design operated by 25+ nations I highly doubt there is anything still vitally secret about its aerodynamic capabilities. Which is my main point, if they are selling technology to a foreign nation than that items true capabilities should be public information available to American citizens.
@crewchief1949 I find it funny that you feel that American citizens to which you refer to as "civi's" who pay for and develop these aircraft for your utilization in their defense are somehow undeserving or incapable of knowing their true capabilities... You make it sound as though they have some magic features that are ultra secret which would somehow effect there aerodynamic performance. A Cessna 182 can't fly inverted at 650 knots150 feet above the ground or execute 9g turns.
Its called Max climb

@crewchief1949 Have you seen the F-15 do its maximum performance? I have and I am proud of it.

I'd like to see the F-22's max performance with its thrust vectoring and almost 1:1 thrust to weight ratio
