George LaMond had alot of number one dance music hits and dance club hits,this was one of his greatest dance remixes,he has the greatest singing voice in music history,great song,great lyrics and awesome beats,this remix was the best ever,this song should have been released instead of I Want You Back,this song was more popular and sold got alot more radio airplay,Jimi Tunnel is a great background singer,DJ,producer and musician,Jimmi's background vocals made this song a classic,great song :)

I agree, George LaMond and Jimi Tunnell are great vocalists, this song is awesome.
The first time I heard Distant Heart was in 1998, which was 6 years after the release of George's 'In My Life' album which had this song.
At the time, in 1998, I couldn't believe I had never heard this song before, but then I realized it never got much, if any, air play on radio, because Where Does That Leave Love was the major hit from that album, whereas Distant Heart didn't even reach the Billboard Hot 100.
