Flooding In Vestal and Binghamton New York (2011 Footage)

I live on the outskirts of Binghamton. I just moved here 2 years ago. I used to live in Windsor NY. We were flooded in 2006. Our area was hit hard back then. We had the middle schools, first floor totally underwater. Bridges were out in Harpursville, Deposit, Windsor, Kirkwood, basically all over the eastern portion of Broome County. A couple of houses actually floated down the Susquehanna. Most of the town was evacuated. It was basically the same thing that happened here in the Bing area!

Good job with the audio. Thanks for putting this together to help those of us that grew up in the Southern Tier but no longer live there. It saddens me to see the suffering and the damage.  My thoughts are with all those who now must take a deep breathe and start cleaning up and rebuilding and healing. It will take a long time.

I kept waiting to see Chuckee Cheese. Did it get flooded?? Unbelievable how quick it happened!! I live about 45mins. SW of Binghamton. We just got water in the basement but I live on a hil.
