  • lol i eat so much but i realize that with so much water in veggies and fruits you do need to eat a lot to keep up your energy. thanks for sharing, now i know i don't overeat!

  • I would have to get my own private fridge, theres no way I could get my husband or teenage step children to eat like this. I think thats the hardest part of eating healthy for me, all the other people in my house ordering pizzas and drinking soda.

  • There is almost no protein in that refrigerator . Might be ok for a young woman with almost no muscle mass, but a guy doing almost any physical activity would shrivel to a weed on that food.

  • I don't understand. If this is the "ultimate nature" diet how come so much equipment is involved like juicers and blenders and food processors and dehydrator ovens? And domesticated fruits and vegetables that would look absolutely nothing like that in the wild if they hadn't been domesticated? Is that as unnatural as a conventional stove and cooking? Animals don't soak seeds and nuts before they eat them. It just seems like another ludicrous fad diet I'm not exactly sold...

  • @DaliDahmerly Maybe in those times people might have rolled,squeezed,and sun dried their fruit & veggies. In our time we have the luxury of technology,machines & unbelievable minds that has brought about convenience. It can be simple without the gadgets,just pick it,wash it & eat it.

  • that raw cacao powder not so good, switch it to raw nibs, and you will feel the difference

  • It's not particularly simple as most of the ingredients are incredibly hard to find and expensive.... I'm not a raw foodist but I use some recipes from time to time because I kinda think of it as an interesting salad variant. But I've never seen any hemp seeds bee pollen or raw honey anywhere except on the internet and the prices are ridiculous! (I live in a really tiny town with no whole food markets or anything...in the middle of no where)

  • Eating raw is cool but you have to remember that the digestive system of a human is incredibly different from animals that eat raw. For example lions and tigers can eat raw meat simply because their stomach acid is so much more concentrated and can kill any kind of bug in the meat, whereas a human can't. Like something with salmonella on it like fish, a bears stomach will destroy that whereas a human can't and you will get it like I did, and let me tell you: Nothing hurts more in this world!

  • @penciltowner i dont eat raw foods, because well i dont believe in the diet, but i can answer this question from all sides. fruit is better than other sugars because it contains nutrients, however the body still processes the fructose in fruit like any other sugar. And sugar to the body is toxic. If you eat fruit occasionally it is not bad for you if you eat a healthy diet. but its not something you should consume every day if you really want to be as healthy as you can be.

  • @Thestargazer000 Sprouts are a great source of protein. Their just seeds or beans that have been allowed to sprout in water. They contain 35% protein and the protein is 100% bio-availible, unlike meat.. Which for a start isnt entirely bio-availiable but after cooking destroys 50% of the protein your left with crap! All leafy veggies, and nearly all vegs have certain amount of protein, only thing that doesnt really is fruit

  • Is it stupid to not use a blender and just eat and CHEW the fruit? I have such a weak blender. it can't handle anything else than soft fruit. If anyone can spare a blender for a poor ambitious student in Denmark, I will be so thankful.

  • one of my fav juices is RAW bloody mary = fresh home grown tomatoes, celery, carrots, lemon, lime, jalepeno, onion (optional) and celantro.... ! it is soooo yummy!

    Question #1- Your veggies in the fridge are just in there loose; you don't have to bag them?

    Question #2- I tried some Chia seeds but they seemed to start sprouting as soon as I put them in my mouth and I couldn't really tolerate that. What do you do about that?

  • Come join us!! It starts tomorrow, and we drink 16 cups of juice (green, vegetable & fruit juice) a day--you are able to function, go to work, exercise everything while simultaneously detoxing & cleansing and lose some weight too. Great to jump start healthy diet!

    Question #1- You just keep the veggies loose in the fridge? You don't bag them? Won't they dry out easier?

    Question #2-I've tried Chia Seeds but they seemed to begin to sprout as soon as I put them in my mouth it they felt 'slimy'. What do you do about that. I saw you had 'sprouted chia' in your fridge but it didn't look like grass. How do you tolerate Chia?
