Guys i hope you are all doing fine and before i buy the advance version i would like to know if it brings model of the A319CJ with CFM engines. If you wish to see what i am writing about just search sonair airbus , and careful c the diference of IAE and CFM engines. Wilco softeware brings the A319 with IAE but sonair has the A319CJ with CFM engines. So before i buy the airsimmer software i want to make sure they brought that. If they brought that then ill buy the advanced version. Clue

I bought this airplane, almost EVERYTHING works nicely.. Just my suggestion is, please try to fly this airplane with the company manual SOP. Like the way you fly this approach you would have to manage your speed(push). My experience with this airplane, the texture and everything is good, I'm having a hard time to get the speed to decrease on approach. If you try Decelarate approach strategy (Managed Speed) you will end up overspeed this aircraft. And put some more on the feature on FMGS. thanks.
As long as the FMGS has all the bells and whistles i.e COMPLETE on the Advanced version i will be happy. I will be even happier if when they make the A330 that it has the Equi-Time functionality as seen on the Airtours A330-200 DVD. Will make NAT-Track flights just Brilliant to see Equi-Time Points on the flightplan. Please get the Advanced versions "Advanced" Go that extra mile that LVL-D and PMDG didnt in their FMC's Make the A320 and A330 truly ADVANCED!
im waiting until airsimmer release the advance package for both fs2004 and fsx together under ONE (1) pricetag..me and my dad using fs2004 and fsx together,and i hope that gauges programming dont eats up too much resource unlike my old flight1 atr for my fs2004 where i have to turn off the 1st officer efis/pfd/mfd and keep captain's on,since it double the fps while inside VC,and never using too much texture files for VC it makes textures load slowly and even stutter until it fininsh loaded..
I miss some callouts like "2000ft" or "100 abouve" or "minimum"?! When gear down that BING comes when gear is locked not when you move the gear lever. but you can only hear it from the cabin. but you can hear from inside the cockpit how the nosegear is coming out. and the windsound is getting louder. thats not simulated :/
The callouts you miss are related to the minimun altidude. Since this is an autoland there is no minimun and so it's quite obvious that these callouts don't appear.
@gonzas144 But they say airsimmers has big errors on vertical navigation or something, and the INIT B page is not available. True? What other faults are there? On wilco they are. (Im not saying airsimmers is rubbish. It does look great)
@richygambs321 Logically AIrsimmers Airbus is full of bugs, thats why it hasn't been released yet. Looks like developing a Level-D Airbus for FS is not as simple as people think, its sad becaouse we see a lot of complex boing aircrafts like the new Ifly 737, or the old PMDG 737,the CLS 767,the Level-D 767,the CS767, the CS 757,the PSS 757,the QW757 and looks like Level-D is developing a 757 too, the PMDG 747,the PSS 777 And for airbus what do we have?. Wilco A320, PSS A320 and stop counting.
@richygambs321 Seems like Airbus is more complex to develop than Boeing yes.. It doesn't mean that its impossible to make a less sophisticated one like Wilco did. But again Wilco's airbus is a little crappy. You are not going to found CTD bugs in Wilco Airbus, its stable, but yes some concept & design errors as well as some aircraft functions missing and/or wrongly simulated. I hope that the Advanced Wilco version (a new one announced few days ago) would give us some improvements.
Their A320 is pretty buggy but still it is more realistic than AirSimmerA320 Basic version, who knows how much time it take that they make advanced version. And Wilco 737 is one of the best payware addons at the moment.

Yeah, but the good looking planes have the FMC. FS doesn't feel the same without the ATC. Plus, I'll save the realism for when I become a pilot. But for now, I like to fly the default way.
I just happen to like the default way. FMC to me doesn't feel the same without a real ATC helping you out. I mean I do like realism, I just like the best you can get that sticks within the guidelines of fs9/fsx

The strobes and the beacon don't look very realistic. First of all they should be much brighter than this and the interval of the two strobe flashes is shorter than this.
Just to those people criticising me on the AS forum:
I am actually part of the BETA team of Airsimmer. I try to raise concerns but the communication with the development is atrocious. This seems to be the only place somebody listens. Blah de blah de blah.
And for those of you on AS forum who have reading difficulties:
I did not ONCE criticise the AS A320, it is a FANTASTIC add on. I am, however, criticisng their choice of pilot which makes the bus look awful.
Hello Ryan just noticed on the FMA when the auto callout says 10' the A/C triple click mode reverson down grade occurs. The App cat went to CATII . This should not happen on the actual A/C and should indicate CAT III Dual until you turn the AP off to taxi clear of the runway.
It's a mystery to many people. I think most of them at AS are running around like headless chickens. So many things should have been sorted out before they open their mouth about a 320 project release it beckons belief. Yeah their preview looks good but until it runs on user's PC it accounts for nothing. We still can't believe some poor sods spent money to buy a half baked product just to have an "Extended Team" banner, hopefully they will one day get the other half! Well done AS on that one!
Nice. Too bad the panel is not made from real photos. Looks facke. Flight1 ATR's cockpit looks so much better. Wish PMDG and now AirSimmer understand that...
Of course, Airsimmer has much better simulation of the systems than ATR does, but photoreal panel would have made it even better.
I don't use VCs just because they don't look sharp enough, even if made of real photos.I see a huge difference between the 2D panels of Flight1ATR and PMDG, for ex.I agree, the VC of Airsimmer looks as good as a VC can get.Also for the exterior model I would prefer to see some textures (ex:engine pylons) made from real pics, like in the ifdg models. Yeah, in 5 years from now. The FS9 version is not even released yet and god knows how many bugs they are trying to sort out. For a product that was "really close to release date" in 2007, I wouldn't hold my breath to see this Bus flying in 2009. Airsimmer's marketing has been an absolute shocker. For all we know AirlinersXP airbus might be released before that!
I never said I was a hardcore simmer. I do have better things to do with my life than spend it in front of a PC. I do enjoy Flight simulator, and as I said before (you might have missed it?) If it was to put an eye-candy tray table, why not add sound to it. If you can't get that simple point, then keep your opinion to yourself and I'll keep mine.

The more I watch this video the more the touchdown is unrealistic. IT IS NO WAY THAT CALM AND STABLE ON LANDING! did you guys do any research at all?? Go and spend more time on a real full motion simulator please.

No I don't have a problem at all with the tray, it has been well rendered and the motion is really nice, but it is just so weird that they have sounds for everything else but the tray and the sunshade. Surely if you are going to add sounds, add it for everything. I don't get it at all. The tray table is the most noisy thing on the cockpit when pulled out/in. That was just my point, it's just a shame some people on here have to be rude simply because we don't agree with them.
Let me put it this way, from a generic standpoint. The point of an advanced simulator is to Replicate proper feeling of Flight, isn't it? If I had a company in the Advanced simulation market, The sound a tray table makes would be low on my list. It would be on the list of course, but very low on it. Would't you Agree system accuracy and Functions, and the sounds that go with them are infinitely more important than the tray table?
I would definitely agree with you 100%. But a light switch has nothing to do with Flight dynamic but they did stick a sound to it. They decided to put a Mute "eye candy" tray table. I don't see the point. If it's not to have a sound attributed to it then don't put it at all.
Judging from your language you must be around 12 years old. FS is for flight simming, but you still write on a previous post you'd like to use it for training. You just have bad manners and are talking crap. With your argument why bother at all with cockpit sound! Airsimmer should learn to develop a product accepting all criticisms, whatever they are and where they come from. My point is all these companies spend so much time in these products and all these flight simmers don't have a clue and it annoys me. These companies model so much that your normal flightsimmer can't even begin to comprehend. Poor companies.

Guys, what about the livery questions? Did you even take a look at the AS forums. They made a huge list of repaints that account for a lot more then only US airliners.
Cockpit environment in FS account for a huge amount, the sound in this video apart from switches are POOR. I have to say that the look and feel of the cockpit is really nice, I like the fact that it looks brand new as in it would in real life, as Airbus are still making a lot of new deliveries. I hope the sounds are going to be sorted out. PLEASE. That would be an awesome Airbus. Besides that, well done to the AS crew.
Ok. Nice video but. I am really worried of how the cockpit sounds are actually replicated. THIS IS A BIT ALARMING! Tray tables in real life are really noisy and rattling when pulled out and in. Also no sound at all when pulling the sunshade!!! Have you guys used these in real life? Also touchdown overall sound disturbance was almost ZERO. It was almost like landing a cessna. Somebody at Airsimers please tell us this is being rectified.
no 'they' don't. Most of the time the approach gives you a specified approach speed to maintain until a few miles from touchdown so selected speed is the most common way to fly this aircraft in approach phase. same goes for the descent rate.

Aerosoft + FSX + Level-D = 5FPS in I7 975.
Aerosoft + FS9 + Level-D = 30FPS in I7 975
You see the diference?.
For the people that likes flying VFR can use FSX, but this is an aircraft to fly IFR, and FS9 it's perfect for that.

With AA x8 and DX9 (DX10 doesn't work with AA for me) im getting 5-10 FPS.
Without AA and DX im getting 15-20 FPS.
But, in FS9 without AA im getting 40FPS or more.

you should get the friendly fmc package then, you can use the ATC with it, and it uses default fsx flight plans, much more useful that the GPS

no, one dosnt come without a fmc unfortunatly .
You should check the orums out, you learn alot of them btw.
I spent a whole night reading all the forum topics and learnt so much..
it got to some extent where i just had to turn it off as it was teasing me ! :L

The strobes and the beacon don't look very realistic. First of all they should be much brighter than this and the interval of the two strobe flashes is shorter than this.

Just to those people criticising me on the AS forum:
I am actually part of the BETA team of Airsimmer. I try to raise concerns but the communication with the development is atrocious. This seems to be the only place somebody listens. Blah de blah de blah.
And for those of you on AS forum who have reading difficulties:
I did not ONCE criticise the AS A320, it is a FANTASTIC add on. I am, however, criticisng their choice of pilot which makes the bus look awful.

Hello Ryan just noticed on the FMA when the auto callout says 10' the A/C triple click mode reverson down grade occurs. The App cat went to CATII . This should not happen on the actual A/C and should indicate CAT III Dual until you turn the AP off to taxi clear of the runway.

It's a mystery to many people. I think most of them at AS are running around like headless chickens. So many things should have been sorted out before they open their mouth about a 320 project release it beckons belief. Yeah their preview looks good but until it runs on user's PC it accounts for nothing. We still can't believe some poor sods spent money to buy a half baked product just to have an "Extended Team" banner, hopefully they will one day get the other half! Well done AS on that one!

Nice. Too bad the panel is not made from real photos. Looks facke. Flight1 ATR's cockpit looks so much better. Wish PMDG and now AirSimmer understand that...
Of course, Airsimmer has much better simulation of the systems than ATR does, but photoreal panel would have made it even better.

I don't use VCs just because they don't look sharp enough, even if made of real photos.I see a huge difference between the 2D panels of Flight1ATR and PMDG, for ex.I agree, the VC of Airsimmer looks as good as a VC can get.Also for the exterior model I would prefer to see some textures (ex:engine pylons) made from real pics, like in the ifdg models. Im a big fan of photoreal and there is nothing photoreal in the Airsimmer. Still, I can't wait to have it

Yeah, in 5 years from now. The FS9 version is not even released yet and god knows how many bugs they are trying to sort out. For a product that was "really close to release date" in 2007, I wouldn't hold my breath to see this Bus flying in 2009. Airsimmer's marketing has been an absolute shocker. For all we know AirlinersXP airbus might be released before that!

I never said I was a hardcore simmer. I do have better things to do with my life than spend it in front of a PC. I do enjoy Flight simulator, and as I said before (you might have missed it?) If it was to put an eye-candy tray table, why not add sound to it. If you can't get that simple point, then keep your opinion to yourself and I'll keep mine.

As for the sound enviro in the cockpit while landing, that was a bit of a disapointment. A cessna makes more noise that that on landing!

No I don't have a problem at all with the tray, it has been well rendered and the motion is really nice, but it is just so weird that they have sounds for everything else but the tray and the sunshade. Surely if you are going to add sounds, add it for everything. I don't get it at all. The tray table is the most noisy thing on the cockpit when pulled out/in. That was just my point, it's just a shame some people on here have to be rude simply because we don't agree with them.

Let me put it this way, from a generic standpoint. The point of an advanced simulator is to Replicate proper feeling of Flight, isn't it? If I had a company in the Advanced simulation market, The sound a tray table makes would be low on my list. It would be on the list of course, but very low on it. Would't you Agree system accuracy and Functions, and the sounds that go with them are infinitely more important than the tray table?

I would definitely agree with you 100%. But a light switch has nothing to do with Flight dynamic but they did stick a sound to it. They decided to put a Mute "eye candy" tray table. I don't see the point. If it's not to have a sound attributed to it then don't put it at all.

Judging from your language you must be around 12 years old. FS is for flight simming, but you still write on a previous post you'd like to use it for training. You just have bad manners and are talking crap. With your argument why bother at all with cockpit sound! Airsimmer should learn to develop a product accepting all criticisms, whatever they are and where they come from. Cockpit environment in FS account for a huge amount, the sound in this video apart from switches are POOR. I have to say that the look and feel of the cockpit is really nice, I like the fact that it looks brand new as in it would in real life, as Airbus are still making a lot of new deliveries. I hope the sounds are going to be sorted out. PLEASE. That would be an awesome Airbus. Besides that, well done to the AS crew.

Ok. Nice video but. I am really worried of how the cockpit sounds are actually replicated. THIS IS A BIT ALARMING! Tray tables in real life are really noisy and rattling when pulled out and in. Also no sound at all when pulling the sunshade!!! Have you guys used these in real life? Also touchdown overall sound disturbance was almost ZERO. It was almost like landing a cessna. Somebody at Airsimers please tell us this is being rectified.

why did u land with manual speed?
normally they landing with the VAPP speed, so with automatic speed.

no 'they' don't. Most of the time the approach gives you a specified approach speed to maintain until a few miles from touchdown so selected speed is the most common way to fly this aircraft in approach phase. same goes for the descent rate.
