Its funny how all of you dragonball z fans dont even know what actually happend to bardock after he "supposedly" died with his planet. When frieza blasted him he was sent back in time to where the first set of saiyan warriors were which is why Bardock is the first super saiyan ever. There is a comic about what happend after he got sent back in time.
@TakeErEz Bardock would not have been a warrior that would've been able to keep his body. He didn't really do anything. Therefore, though he might be in heaven, Goku would not have seen him as spirits without bodies never traveled to where Goku was when he was in Other World. Like the training places.
guys bardock was not bad. he restored his name by fighting freeza and at least try to take him down, he knew he would die, but that is what he did to restore his name, like vegeta in majin buu saga....

Kinda fucked up that goku didn't care about his father. With out bardock there would be no goku. I wonder who his mother was.

I think it has more to do with their physical strength + amount of ki; the more you have, the more of your body you can retain. (Hence why Chi-Chi and Bulma, who are also good-hearted, weren't able to stay 100% human. They had little "ghost tails" instead of legs when they died, remember?)

I would prefer to see King Vegeta watch his son transform in a super saiyan and kill Frieeza, he would probably say something like "my son u can conquer all the universe now" then Vegeta would say something like "I have more important things to do, there is someone i have to defeat" king would probably understand after a while.

I would prefer to see King Vegeta watch his son transform in a super saiyan and kill Frieeza, he would probably say something like "my son u can conquer all the universe now" then Vegeta would say something like "I have more important things to do, there is someone i have to defeat" king would probably understand after a while.

Think it could only bring back people who died within a year, and the Saiyans home world was destroyed when Vegeta was small, so to much time had past to bring them back, i guess.
