It isn't an actual theater movie, this was a fan-made movie if you can believe it. It was made in Finland and not anywhere else, meaning there is no English version, but movie does come with subtitles. As for shields: their excuse is that shields don't work in the B5 universe
@starflame34 well if i remember correctly, there was an episode of TNG that said that lasers were compleatly inefective vs starfleet ships due to what the ships hull is made from, so the babylon ships wouldnt be able to damage the trek ships, as for the lack of shields... they didnt put them in this video because if the trek ships had them, they wouldnt have taken any damage at all, even the shuttle craft would be kicking major ass.

In Crusade, they reference the brand-new Warlock-class destroyers and claim that "only" 50 have been built so far. This indicates a much larger number to be built. By comparison, Starfleet only has maybe 100-200 decent warships. Numbers also make a difference, especially if you're fighting a war and not a single battle (i.e. tie up Starfleet resources, while EA ships move in to attack starbases).
Umm The federation has thousands of ships. Ever watch DS9 ? Also throwing an entire universe against the Federation is retarded. Add the Klingons, Romulans, Dominion, Breen, Tholians, Borg, Kzinti, Andorians .....shall I go on?

@Domkavosh I'm going to argue against this (as a B5 fan). JMS was always good at representing the logistics of Earth. The biggest battle gathering of Earth Ships outside of the Battle of the Line was shown to be at Mars, with 30+ Omega Destoyers in the Clark loyal fleet. Even the battle for B5 had a total of 9 capital ships in total (counting the three in the second wave). So to say that EA had thousands of Warships is over estimating...unless you count fighters.

The Minbari against the, lets use the Jem'Hadar. I consider them both on a relatively even level. Sure you can throw in the first ones, but then Trek fans can throw in the Q. Snap of fingers and the B5 universe is gone, or Species 8472. Keep it simple i say. Earth Force vs. Star Fleet.
@porpus99 my thinking was that the minbari ships would be the only true match for the sheer capabilities of the Enterprise-E ships, theEarth Force Victory-class is just to big and slow and only has one main gun, like a super mobile Deathstar. Had the minbari cruisers been in the fight I think the last things left intact would've been the Babylon station, and of course the Star Fleet space dock.

The fed ships are extremely weak without, and I think the B5 ships have a massive advantage in the more advanced classes used later in the series. It should of really been a walkover without fed shields, with fed shields the opposite.

no shuttles and defiants are not fighters. also yes startrek ships have the Phaser grid defenses system, remember WW2 ships had flak defenses system and fighters and bombers was still able the to destroy them.
But again """if""" everyone's tech is equal, B5 would win.

Great vids, i thank whomever made them. to start off i'm a big B5 fan. but i would have to say startrek would win, because their technology is so far ahead it's not even funny. but """if""" everyone is equal in tech, B5 would win, because the military idea of "Carrier/fighters/bombers" will dominate, you see this in WW2 pacific. a CAG "carrier attack group" can engage an enemy while the carrier, in the case of B5 their Omega Class Destroyer, can hide behind a moon or in hyperspace. continue....

@DBdraz12 Completely true, but that is besides the point. This battle is between Earth Force, and the Federation. If you throw in races from both universe, the Trek Universe still wins. The Minbari against the, lets use the Jem'Hadar. I consider them both on a relatively even level. Sure you can throw in the first ones, but then Trek fans can throw in the Q. Snap of fingers and the B5 universe is gone, or Species 8472. Keep it simple i say. Earth Force vs. Star Fleet.

@porpus99 my thinking was that the minbari ships would be the only true match for the sheer capabilities of the Enterprise-E ships, theEarth Force Victory-class is just to big and slow and only has one main gun, like a super mobile Deathstar. Had the minbari cruisers been in the fight I think the last things left intact would've been the Babylon station, and of course the Star Fleet space dock.

Victory class ship made with minbari/vorlon/earth tech versus 24th century earthship and earthship wins XD,
i like trek and B5 but the whitestars are probably the most manoeuvrable ships in that fight and they get hit from long range with torpedoes XD

Nice video enjoyed it a lot :) The whole shield thing I kind of agree with. The fed ships are extremely weak without, and I think the B5 ships have a massive advantage in the more advanced classes used later in the series. It should of really been a walkover without fed shields, with fed shields the opposite.

1. These ships are made by russians with basically todays technology..there's even remark for russian building quality.
2. There was this wormhole that did lead from Trek-dimension to B5-dimension. Too bad that on B5 end was hyperspace. That's why they used gate.
3. Trek-Earth were running out of resources so emperor pirk were trying to conquer B5-Earth.
