I loved the way that you Interview the owner. I know him well, he is such a nice man and his food is excellent! He's one of the reasons why I miss L.A. so much. Thank you so much for posting this! God bless you. *hugs*
You know what? I did some research and realized that many beans and legumes have fiften times more protein than a lot of popular meat sources. I too once believed that I would lack protein if eating a plant based diet. I love being vegan. It's so much better for you.

you can tell this black woman is a vegan...
except she eats eggs, cheese, drinks milk (which is VEGAN) and she eats chicken, fish, burgers, PORK CHOPS, BACON (you know the blacks have to have that! ) this woman is a vegan and Dick Cheney is black.
Glozell, did you visit the store any time after this video was taken? I hope you liked the food.
I have started eating there and had vegetarian dishes for like 3-4 days last week and I think it is deliciuous. I am starting to be less constipated now.
There are a zillion videos here on youtube than can better demonstrate than i ever could, why religion is at best a group fantasy, or at worst a dangerous thing.
As for "vibrations" that's just mystical mumbo jumbo. It means nothing. A vibration is just something moving. It's like these new-agers who abuse the word "frequency" while having no idea what it really means.
If you are not into religion, I respect your opinion. It is ridiculous, however, that you would be so turned off by someone just because they have a different belief than you do.
If you base your opinion on what other videos are saying, then you really have no opinion of your own.
If this man believed that the Earth was flat, or that you could wish things into reality ala The Secret, or that prayer was sufficient intervention over medical intervention to fight illness, or that the poius should kill the heathens, then i think you can see why "beliefs" can be a problem.
Also, i have no beliefs. I have values, and things i know to be factual, and other things that i don't know enough about. To "believe" suggests holding something to be true without testable evidence.
You know there is no testable evidence that rounding up Jews and attempting to exterminate them is immoral.
Doctors are one of the leading causes of unnatural death in the world, due to "mistakes" in surgeries and what not. My grandmother died in a hospital, while trying to get a heart valve replacement that her doctors told her would save her life. Before she died she had problems breathing that she didn't have prior to taking the "prescribed" drugs.
>"You know there is no testable evidence that rounding up Jews and attempting to exterminate them is immoral."
This is exactly the linguistic morass i avoid by careful language choice. Others would clarify their thinking to do likewise. To whit: you're confusing an ethical judgment with the testing of a claim. We know this happened. Whether or not it was immoral is a matter of (technically speaking) opinion. I think most people agree that it was horrible. Values & belief are not at all the same
I certainly agree that doctors are often a hazard. I loathe them for matters of malpractice. It's out of control in the US. We need a death penalty for dangerous doctors. It's the fallibility of individual practitioners that's the problem, not the underlying scientific way of attacking disease. Prayer has never been shown to cure anyone. Science has.
Cultures that have a largely vegan diet do not suffer from half of the heart problems that the average American, for example, deals with. The Hare Krishna religion forbids eating animal flesh.
How is Jainism and Buddhism any more committed to peace then the bible?
"Also, despite what you think, i have nothing against this guy other than him promoting the supernatural stuff. "
@SaganAppreciationSoc I'm not religious, but you actually have it backwards. The current 'medical model' ignores the body's nature, isolates the problem in a beeker, and manipulates is with an un-natural drug. That keeps you alive but doesn't produce health.
The body can heal itself if given the chance: Fruit and veg, excersize, sleep, Positive thinking (prayer, etc) . These make the body work better; and heal itself. That's science.......good science.
I am no longer Christian, but I remember 2 of the commandments being "You shall not murder" and "You shall not steal." How can any religion that ultimately promotes peace, be of any harm to society? Anyone who "kills", is going AGAINST Christianity for one.
Admonishments against killing and theft are secular values as well. I don't know of any religion beyond perhaps Jainism and possibly Buddhism (if that can be termed religion) that are utterly committed to peace. The Bible certainly is not.
That said, a few useful social rules does not excuse mass delusion and belief in the supernatural.
Also, despite what you think, i have nothing against this guy other than him promoting the supernatural stuff.
If I ate everyday at his place I know I would be brimming with health. I thought hare krishnas were into dairy in a big way. Food does pick up spiritual energy and is effected by the emotion and intent of whoever prepares it.
Awesome dude, this man. Respect!
