disappointment ... Afghan music today is like the rest of Afghanistan, a pot without a lid, as they say, free access to all types of spoons. can not complain about today's all genius singers, with a kayboard same "dubaiti", same compose, same clips just different sunglasses on the singer. But you expect a litle more from the experienced who comes from a time when Afghanistan had its own music and culture ...
voice, choice of poetry, music, pronunciation and a clip that you can relate to the content and not a few girls who dance around and that also the same choreography regardless what the song is about. And when you are performing live you should exude confidence and be able to take over the stage with body movements and so on.
Something that we probably will never experience in Afghanistan's history, for Ahmad Zaher is dead and Farad Darya has been involved in Poltik but he is still the only one who keeps the Afghan music alive.
Taking inspration from hindisk music, is nothing wrong but then applies it to inspration from all around the world like other countries which are the result of today's globalization and is just fine. But today's afghan music has become hindi music with inspration from afghan music.
