If you think about it, in order for a religion to proliferate, a reward for believing (paradise) or punishment for not believing (hell) needs to be part of the holy book. Other religions that don't offer such incentives are less likely to succeed. As it stands, there isn't the slightest of verifiable evidence that anything at all happens to us after we die. I wish there was, but most probably we, like other carbon-based lifeforms, just die.

The right to leave one's religion should be a universal human right. Apostasy laws, especially with prison sentences or even the death penalty, are barbaric throwbacks to the Dark Ages and should be discarded. No one's forcing anyone to be friends with someone else who's renounced their previous faith, but the "apostate" should be left in peace.
There should be economic embargoes against countries that don't allow full freedom of conscience, regardless of whatever the state religion is.
Then, if that is the case, let the punishment for leaving Islam be assessed in whatever afterlife there is. Not allowing human beings to exercise their intellects and consciences in life basically just sets up theocratic dictatorships, and retards any kind of intellectual progress of the society as a whole. There's a reason why much of the Islamic world, after being so far ahead of the West culturally, began a slow decline, & that intellectual ossification was a big reason why.

For example Islam does not allow forced arrange marriages but many Muslim cultures do so people confuse this blame Islam. Further study how devil came to be in the story of Adam and Eve and that will answer your other question.

If you think about it, in order for a religion to proliferate, a reward for believing (paradise) or punishment for not believing (hell) needs to be part of the holy book. Other religions that don't offer such incentives are less likely to succeed. As it stands, there isn't the slightest of verifiable evidence that anything at all happens to us after we die. I wish there was, but most probably we, like other carbon-based lifeforms, just die.

The right to leave one's religion should be a universal human right. Apostasy laws, especially with prison sentences or even the death penalty, are barbaric throwbacks to the Dark Ages and should be discarded. No one's forcing anyone to be friends with someone else who's renounced their previous faith, but the "apostate" should be left in peace.
There should be economic embargoes against countries that don't allow full freedom of conscience, regardless of whatever the state religion is.

Also, there's no specific death penalty prescribed in the Quran itself for apostasy. It's a later invention in the hadiths or simply the traditional jurisprudence of Muslim nations. For example Islam does not allow forced arrange marriages but many Muslim cultures do so people confuse this blame Islam. This is not mentioned in the Quran but in the hadith (which are the saying of Prophet Muhammad PBUH). Further study how devil came to be in the story of Adam and Eve and that will answer your other question.

Islam and Christianity are really not the same thing, either. For one thing, Christ is the central figure in Christianity, and, by their belief, he's the son of Yahweh, not a prophet or holy man, as Muslims would have it. Christ's death and resurrection and his divinity are central to Christianity, and Islam denies all this.

I don't like to pick at a video celebrating converts to atheism, but I just watched an interview of Omar Sharif, and he states that he believes in a god. Sounds like he is agnostic rather than atheist.

Muslim are trying to tell people they are the fastest growing religion. From what I see they are the fast dying religion because of conversion to reality (Atheism). Sure they have a few token foolish kids who hate their family and neighbors and convert to Islam out of spite but they are a very small minority who do it because they need attention. Information and education will destroy Islam and at a slower rate christianity. The sooner this happens. The better it is for humanity. Same for jews.

Finland is also a land where atheism is popular, and it also has low crime rates. Your logic just fails because innate human morality is far more moral than religion-induced morality.

@X3BOOODYX2012 Morals originate from our survival instinct, from the time we had to rely on each other just to survive. Now we rely on each other to function as a society. That is what causes people to be moral, religion has nothing to do with it.
Also, why is porn a bad thing? Who is harmed by watching it? How are you becoming a bad person by watching it or being active in the porn industry? Answer me that.

Why are you complicating life?! Men and women cannt pray together unless they r married couple. Why wasnt women given certain leadership? How would a woman lead a nation when she has cramps.
