The drop step that you showed might work if your playing against a mediocre school but top schools will easily block that.

What you wanna do is drop step into the center than do a hook shot. Practice that move and you'll do great against top schools.

I played some center in high school & then switched to guard yet not once did I need to have a move like that set up. You got to drive the ball & know how to battle in the paint. If your a center you should know how to battle in the paint since that is "your territory" both on defense & offense!!

The kid demonstrating this traveled. After receiving the ball he took a step with his right foot with the ball in position THEN he pivoted with the right foot and took a step with his left. A travel. This move should be done so that once the ball is in position, the pivot foot must be established (baseline right foot) player pivots (lifting the left foot) and then takes the shot. I suspect that they were practicing a single dribble drop step prior to this, hence the faulty foot work :)

ofcourde it is add whatever you like to these moves, after the fake you can go under the basket to the other side of it to get a clear shot or just jump at the defender when he is in the air because that is a defensive foul ;)
