Could you tell me if it's possible to put a card-reader into the hot-swap-bay?

I guess you couldn't screw it in, but perhaps with some modification if not normally?

If the plugs inside and even the push-down front-cover aren't in the way, it seems possible to me.

Please let me know. :)

@DamageIncM It's probably possible but not very easily done. It is not made for a reader, but you could just use one of the bays.

@DamageIncM I got a 5.25 to 3.5 adapter from Amazon for about 10 bucks with all hardware needed. Easily done. Good luck and all the best to you man!

Does the antec 600 sidepnale fit in antec 300?

i think it will. it fits standard atx boards and i think graphics cards are usually not wider than the motherboard.

umm, now i watched again closely and i´m not sure. the slot blends are all in the corner, so i´m not sure if the full width is availible if you have large mobo stands. but there are small stands included and again i´m not sure.

Building my 1st PC but have done lots of component swaps. Case was on sale for $30. Should I use one, two or three optional fans? AMD Phenom x4 2.8ghz; do I need to install a better cpu cooler other than what comes with cpu? I looked at the evo-11 was under $20

This is a good case. There are more liek the Antec 902 or my favorite the Lancool PC-K62 (see my video) I would always get an better cooler....yes. Best of luck.

The case has about 12 inches. A 260 will fit fine. You might have to install the HDs in different slots but it would fit fine.

How would you mount the PSU? Should the fan of the PSU be mounted facing upwards or downwards?

In this case you would be better off mounting the PSU with the fan facing up to draw air from inside the case. It works fine if you have good air flow.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think this is the best case ever. It's the best for my last two builds in the price range. I looked at the 300 believe me. I wanted a backplate hole and hot swap bay. 300 has neither.

yeah it has a few features over the 300 and the 300 has a few over the 200

NZXT Beta EVO and the Antec 300 are better value, the inside of this is just basic and not to mention its fugly.

Thats just me tho, i recognise its a cheapo case but the Beat is in its price range and the 300 is just a little more.

Thank you. I am putting an EP45-UD3P in this build. I put that P55 in the Lancool case. I have a video about that too. I will be putting a lower end EP45-UD3L in this case with a Core 2 Quad Q8400. Nice CPU.

Absolutely, This would be a great case and would fit the 5850. The case has 12 inches for video cards.
