  • @deegan45 From personal experience I can tell you Rogaine is a long, expensive, and worthless road. They are a business and their primary concern is profits. Not customer satisfaction. Spare them your dollars and live with yourself until a REAL cure knocks on the door

  • Amygdalin (vitamin B17) destroys errant trophoblastic/placental/malignant growth. One should not allow the healing process to run rampant in the first place. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

  • Hope they find the answer.

  • @deegan45 no,it doesnt at all dont use it.rogain has minoxidil in it,nothing special with rogain.rogain is extremely overpriced and a super scam..

  • Hi, I've learned a lot about the cause and treatments for male hair loss, and have decided to start a small business helping guys with their hair problems for a low cost. I don't charge very much and the treatments I suggest are all tried, tested, and proven successful. They are also relatively inexpensive, and I am impartial because I only earn money from giving advice. I have already CURED at least one individual of his male pattern hair loss. Please contact me for more information :)

  • @silent9173

I'm not saying there aren't results, I'm providing a possible answer for pathways question: "What I wanna know - is why this research wasn't done 10 - 15 years ago - it took them all this time for some ass to wake up and say "hey - lets compare scalp samples and stem cells in bald and non-balding men""

  • Pathway I'm with you shes hot. But for some reason guys want there hair back more then a woman.lol

  • The big break is gonna happen in the States, the UK is decades behind, slow ass timewasters.

  • Damn am I gonna be the first to say how shit hot that doctor is?

  • always the same ...in the future we want sth now!!

  • Sadly, this stem cell stuff is many years away.

There are other procedures (like hair cloning by Aderans) that are already in advanced stages of clinical trials.

  • @PaulHartXYZ - What I wanna know - is why this research wasn't done 10 - 15 years ago - it took them all this time for some ass to wake up and say "hey - lets compare scalp samples and stem cells in bald and non-balding men"..... something is up here, they're obviously trying to milk the snakeoil /propecia /minox market before they bring out a cure.

  • @pathwaytoallah

28 May 2009 Bone marrow transplantation is the only established use of stem cells.

11 October 2010 First trial of embryonic stem cells in humans.

  • @pathwaytoallah

25 October 2010 - Ishikawa et al. transplanted cells which contain their new host's nuclear DNA could still be rejected by the individual's immune system due to foreign mitochondrial DNA. Tissues made from a person's stem cells could therefore be rejected, because mitochondrial genomes tend to accumulate mutations.

There are several reasons. Strange how your use of the word research must now appear oddly self serving.

  • @Zimpel57 - Who's talking about transplanting cells here? lol anyone? Wanna find me a comment of mine in which I used the term research aswel? hurry up Jim-bob - I love these quasi-science nerds that think reading the blurb of a R. Dawkins books accredits them the status of a renowned scientific researcher, get real you piss poor pathetic platitudinous prick -

  • @pathwaytoallah

"What I wanna know - is why this "RESEARCH" wasn't done 10 - 15 years ago"

Now this really is something. Not only do you spend your entire comment in a rather poor attempt to insult me, you also, in your rage, post without reading your own prior comment. I guess the irony is only fitting. Very useful demonstration of your ability to think critically when cornered.

Oh wait you just lashed out... like a dog.

  • @Zimpel57 - But you didnt answer my question - who here is talking about transplants? Seriously - find me a comment regarding transplants - cause yev just strolled on here made a few assumptions about people you dont know and thrown a few comments around - who was talking about transplants? ME? HIM? HER? YOU?..

  • @pathwaytoallah

I'm not talking about transplants nor am I implying any sort of theory and I do not claim to have an answer. I merely pointed out that you asked the question without out trying to look for the answer first yourself. I don't care what they do or find. I'm only interested in pointing out your mistakes.

  • @Zimpel57 - Are you telling me they did not have the tools to study the amount of stem cells in bald/non-bald men say, 10 years ago? lol that's all I wanna know.

  • @Zimpel57 - So your "theory" on the answer to my question is that they did not compare biopsies of stem cells within scalps of bald/non-bald men because they knew A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE of transplanted stem cells were rejected by the INNATE immune system in MICE? Are you serious? I mean really?

  • @pathwaytoallah maybe the technology 10-15 years ago just wasn't there.

  • People dealing with it now already know the options. We want to hear more about this exciting news and what happens next and when?

  • Erica Hill in black tights? No way!! very sexy!!

  • i tryed rogainee foam and it really did help you have to stay with it buying another 90 days soon it does sop your hair from falling out

  • I don't need a lady telling me I can resort to wearing a wig....... DUH!!

  • I am sure the cure is less stress, but we don't lived in a world where we don't get stress, so there really isn't going to be a cure for it. Good luck trying tho.
