Used play it a lot, on Amiga.

Best games were played with friend, with screen splited with sheet of paper to avoid looking at other moves. It was our "paranoid mode".

Now wish to see it online :) With two players capability.

I always wanted to solve that damn game, but it became frustrating that there were "attack-turns" and "supply-turns". Freaked me out: loades a savestate, didnt knew what turn it was, tried to attack the enemy, could MOVE the unit, but i just refused to ATTACK. Grrrrrrraaaaah!!!! And the enemies turn takes looooooong time. Zzzzzzz..*yawn*

I always wanted to see the ending for the germans, but the final mission was too much for me. Guess u cant change history. :((((

I have. It's not so much a matter of strategy, but a matter of endurance. (Just pull everybody back, take down the enemy aircrafts using elite infantry, planes and mobile AA guns. Then, you just wait for them - most of the Allied tanks will have a hard time crossing the trenches, where you can just shoot 'em to shreds with your artillery. Level up your own infantry and tanks, take out the enemy heavy guns with your aircrafts and then go for his HQ.)

GREAT, you ve actually beaten that mission? i always tried to hold the line on 2 points on the map. Failed and took damn long. Dude, is there some great ending / extro to that game, or is it just "game over"?

There isn't much, just a picture of the railway car at La Compiegne, where they signed the armistice, and some text. I just pulled everybody back and dug trenches with my engineers - it's really just a matter of stamina if you don't lose your aircraft.

lol, no other way to win. problem was, the enemy always had 2-4 times more artillery then u and it took so damn long to train ur units. ^^
