@RollOnToVictory I am an LSU fan and a huge football fan in general, but you can't tell me that those soccer fans aren't some crazy fuckers. If you don't believe me just look up the chant "fuck off Chelsea FC". All the soccer fans in the stadium do the chants not just one section of the stadium.
@rwhit9351 only a few clubs have their entire stadium singing the whole time (thought most Turksih clubs can pull of 90 mins of full crowd). They have supporters sections and they usually start and lead the cheers. My next fav thing i like to point out is that a lot of their songs come from American tunes (ie, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Johnny Comes Marching Home, The Saints Go Marching In, Country Roads, etc.)

Don't put a barrier up just because of different nationalities. They love their teams and you should respect that.

The names the Alumni were calling Jordan Jefferson when he threw his interception deep in Arkansas territory were 100x worse than what the student section was yelling. In 2007/2008 most of the students seemed to say "talking out the side of your neck," but after that it just got out of hand. I'm fairly certain they never play this song whenever the CBS cameras are on the band, and, if it does get caught, I'm pretty sure CBS turns off the microphones. Kids will be kids, people...

@jkamtigerfan I'm not in this video. I haven't sat in the student section at Tiger Stadium since my senior year in 1989. I'm just tired of people acting offended for the sake of being offended. I didn't fight in Iraq to sit back and listen to hypocrites complain about what a bunch of 18 year old kids are yelling at a football game. I'm sure you've all said worse at sporting events at some point in your lives. Get over it. Move on with your life. You aren't changing the world on youtube.

The names the Alumni were calling Jordan Jefferson when he threw his interception deep in Arkansas territory were 100x worse than what the student section was yelling. There is no answer to fans yelling obscenities and displaying inappropriate behavior at sporting events. That's why they're called fanatics.

How do you know how many if any scholarship kids are in this video? Of those kids in this video how do you know how many are yelling? When alumni (like us) get a bad rap from being associated with a student body who is (in mass... not isolated individuals) dissing then entire system, then the students either protest and help stop it, the adminstration will OR honorable people supporting them (outside of the enablers like yourself) will stop their donations. This is how life works. People will learn responsibility, accountability & respect either sooner or later

They won't be playing this song at the National Championship and they didn't play it at the SEC Championship. The enablers are those who tell them to quit doing it. The students are supposed to say "talking out the side of your neck," hence Neck being the name of the cheer. It's an 80s song by Cameo. In 2007/2008 most of the students seemed to say "talking out the side of your neck," but after that it just got out of hand. I'm fairly certain they never play this song whenever the CBS cameras are on the band, and, if it does get caught, I'm pretty sure CBS turns off the microphones. Kids will be kids, people...

To me, it looks as if it was a planned event by someone "in charge." If it was a song "planned" to sing and chant...it was wrong on the school's part. That's all I'm saying. If I had a child w/ me during that event, I would've been very embarrased and disapointed with the LSU band for sing such obsenities.
