@quarterbid If you use pellets in the smoke daddy, it can and does build up a lot of tar. i just use small pieces of natural hickory in mine. Works perfectly, and trust me, nothing coming out of this smoker tastes bad.
Great job and great idea on the interior light. As for the screws, did you use stainless? My smoker will be outside and I am worried that the screws may rust off.
I got the thermometer on ebay, Maverick Dual Probe Smoker Thermometer ET-73 Wireless. about $40. It's not an oven rack, just a universal grill rack from home depot.

Did you have any problems with the smoke daddy? I read that the thing can throw off a bunch f tar & the food tastes funny.

@lagarcia85 I did use stainless steel screws. I garage mine, but if you keep it outside, make sure you cover it.
