  • Yes I love my Kawa 900 but I do miss the Burgman. The 400 has several advantages over the 650. It's lighter, costs $2K less, easier to balance, gets better mpg, easier to service and I do like the instrument cluster much better. The 650 is faster, has no belt(not sure that's a real advantage)

  • Great review! I own a 650exe, and I am thinking to trade it in for a 400. The 650 exe got some things I dont like. The instrument panel for instance and the engine breaking. Whats your experience? Thx John

  • One of the guys that bought my used one from Theil's is enjoying it. The 400 is the top seller scoot in the US and we know why... ;-)

  • @badchuckie You sure got that right. I think I like it better than any bike I've had. Those who have never ridden a real scooter just don"t get it.

  • Excellent Review, thank you for posting it.

  • gr8 bike...i just got a sym rv250 ......gr8 bike as well..but would to trade it in about 2yrs from now for a 400 or 650

  • Sorry for my bad english,

That's a motorcycle, frankly, pretty bike, I loved the start and the design of the Burgman 400, especially since it is a very royal motorcycle, it is a lion when it runs on is a throne ...

Nice video, well done and the picture quality really surprised me!

    Thank you!

    Merci !

    Fayçal ELK.

  • @badchuckie he thinks the bike is pretty, loves the design, thinks you look like a lion if you ride it, it it a throne, he like the vid, well made and surprised by the quality of the image

  • how muhc does it cost and how fast does it go?

  • @Aarons411 You can get last years model for about $6000 and top speed is 95 to 100 mph. New bikes are backed up do to the earthquake in Japan.

  • CANT WAIT TO GET ONE

  • Great review!!

  • Yes, I traded them both in and got a Vulcan 900 LT and a Honda Metro. My wife was too short to flatfoot the burgie. You got a great scooter. I just traded on a whim. There are days I miss them.....

  • @badchuckie sounds like u traded for a coup;e nice bikes. I am very pleased with the scooter. I appreciate the fact that u took exceptional care of it

  • Dude, it's a small world. I believe i own either this burger or your other one. Did u happen to trade this in @ Thiels wheels in upper sandusky? If so I bought it. They had two identical scoots they said were traded in by a local couple.

  • Sweet bike! Thanks for the walkaround. Just ordered my B400 K11. Can't wait! :-]]

  • Thanks man!!!! Good job covering the whole scooter. Btw, your scooter looks beautiful!! I'd love to get myself one

  • You can purchase the jumper wires from Auto Zone. They are two wire trailer light extensions. When you cut them in two they make a lead set for the battery and a lead set for the battery charger or a electric tire pump I keep in the glove box.

  • I have a question, where could i buy the wires to jumpstart the scooter ?

  • Thanks for this review!

  • Nice video. I am in the market for one of these. Do you think the 400 would be adequate enough for my 250 lb. plus wife 140lb. for highway cruising? I like this and the silverwing. I can get the burgman for a lot less. Thank you.

  • @kwaidonjin Yes the 400 will be adequate. You should be able to cruise at 70 mph two up. I would say that the 650 would be better if you are going to be two up all the time. The insurance is less and gas mileage is about 15 mpg better than the Silverwing or the Burgman 650. I have weighed as much a 275 and it runs great!

  • Not air-cooled. Water cooled.

  • @tbilllera Thx. I miss quoted...I did catch it right after I posted the video under my comments....

  • @badchuckie well, technically the air cools the water, sooo.... just kidding! Nice review. Extensive without beying boring!!!

  • Love the scoot and the sound of that choo choo in the background.

  • Hello there. I do have a Burgman 400 2009 ABS. Dose your wind shild is OEM ? it look shorter them mine? Also since they add an O2 senser on the muffler and catalitic part inside of the muffler, the new Burgman is slower then the 2006 Burgman, when doing 0 to 60 Km/H from a full stop, except that I like the new Burgman so much! I can't wait for the next day to come so I can ride this scooter again.

    Thanks.

    Alain.

  • @dellalain1964 I taped the windshield on both sides and cut 8" off. It makes the bike look like a cafe racer from the front.. I have two units and did both units.

  • thank you very very much for posting this review.

just one quick question, is there any vibration in the scooter when you are at full stop.

im asking because i heard that single cylindar bikes tend to vibrate when you stop.

  • @UaEsKnight

    It's very smooth at idle!
