why the hell do chinese steamers have air horns for whistles??

Most Chinese steamers actually have both. Some systems rarely use the airhorns over the whistles, where as others are vice versa. Actually being there, I couldn't care less if Tom Jones was pumping out of a smoke box mounted ghetto blaster! Incredible place and fast fading away...
