i'm crying because it pains me so much to tell you that "YOU have to make sacrifices"... Wow. I think crying is easier than paying for other greedy bastards' mistakes....
@xujhdhei And you think that EU is doing something for the italian and greek situation?... May be I did not understand something, i dont speak english very well, and i write it even worse XD
luxurius welfare system??
... the state is the organisation of robbery systematised and writ large. The state is the only legal istitution in society that acquires its revenue by the use of coercion, by using violence and threat of violence on its victims. The state is, therefore, a centralized, regularised organisation of theft ...

Lenin on the state: "the state [is] an Instrument for the exploitation of the oppressed class"
Lenin citing Engels: "the state is a “special coercive force".
Trotsky on taxation: "[The] Government, with its officials, robs him continually by taxation"
Why is this bitch crying? She is not letting little children starve to death, she is only making moderate adjustments to a very luxurious welfare system.
@MrMick73 Hello! I'm Italian and I can tell you what she was talking about in this video.
Last Sunday, our new Prime Minister informed in a meeting what the new economic policy has to do in Italy. Our Welfare Minister was talking about pensions' reform. This is the more important change in the new reform... and when she had to ask other new privations to retireds about ''rich pensions'', she started crying... But it's not her fault, this governament is doing all other politicians didn't do...
you talk about farming I talk about manufacturing and REAL industries like Finmeccanica for example. All Western countries have seen their jobs been cut out and being shipped where it was cheaper both because of business interests and EU directives. Facts remain..you stated originally that Italy will end up like Greece, facts are that's never gonna be that bad because of the superior industrial potential. Keep your dumb greek pride aside..It won't bring you far.
To all my dear Italians: You are now governed by Bilderberger and other hidden elites. You will get raped like the Greece. Nothing will improve! I can promise you! Where all the rela citizens gone and rela Europeans! Everything is a mess and we all get fucked up! Now it is the time in human history that there must be some kind of global movement to stop this maddness and their illegal plans to harm us people all over the world. Look what we have done to this planet and to the people! ShameonYOU
ok, now there's a dictatorship in Greece and Italy, next are Ireland and Spain, and Germany & France are not doing very well; England is on its own; 70 years ago a war started more or less for the same economical reasons, when is it the next one ???
absolutely fascinating stuff......feelings sure but which one? sadness? guilt? psychologists should be having a field day here......big big alarm bells should be ringing all over europe now, no excuses we know where this is heading.
at least italia is a big country, will make it because has a lot of power...the poor greece is going to die every day...i live in greece and i say that no one can live with 500 euros...god helps us...
Fuck Masons, politicians(Greece),and Merkel will be punished for what she does because she thinks Germany can control europe, one day i hope to see a better day.
@niskoulas1998 ... Our politicans want to be importand and they want to get into the history-books ... It is not only Merkel ... also other politicans, too. But be sure, ... the german people are solidary with the greece people and all other countries in europe ... We can`t decide what Merkel is doing ... please don`t mistake Merkel for the german people. The germans are very affraid of their politicans and police ... so nearly nobody have the courage to demonstrate in germany
@feuerwassergeist i think that in europe they believe we re capitalists,stealers...it's not our fault,we trie to survive...do you know that in greek schools kids are falling down to swoon because their parents don't have money to give them something to eat...in athens 50,000 are sleeping on the street,we can't handle this anymore
As long as there are people like this, in this country.. there is hope. We survived many challenges in our 3000 years old history, but our people are still here, our language is still here, our culture is still here. We will survive this, if we fight togheter, if we change this political class.. i'm ready for such sacrifices. Viva l'Italia.
@DiscoSource lol. italy has one of the most corrupt governments in europe. greece also told melodramatic stories about their long history. you will fall, just like them...
hey guys, we don't care who is stronger in Europe? we share the same fight -> neutralize the foreign oligarchy. the solutions are exposed since many years. Restore glass-steagall act / Make productive credits from deposit banks / abrogate the law 125 in lisbon treaty / stop borrowing from the private banks & bye bye monti and his bank of crooks (goldman sachs). this guy laughs on our fate, but he'll understand this traitor when he will bankrupt.
Hey italians, can you tell me why Elsa is crying ??? ... Here in germany the people have to work till 67 years ... and in the future, Merkel told us, it will be "69 years" ... The taxes in germany are over 50 % !!! ... And we have thousands of people in germany who haven`t enought to eat ... you never see this in the news but it is the reality ... only in Berlin, the people needs over 550 tons of spended meal per month to have enough to eat !!! ... So, why are you protesting in italy ???
@feuerwassergeist She is crying because she said that this is only the beggining, she said that this is the easier part, other reforms will be harder. Same here, we work till 67 years. We are protesting because they have introduced other taxes, and you are wrong, we have more taxes than you (Italy 43,1% + these other new taxes, Germany 39,7).Every country has people who haven't enough to eat, really, do you want to compare your situation with the humanitarian crisis in Greece?
@smsan22 ... humanitarian crisis ? ... in our news in germany never heard of a humanitarian crisis in greece. In our news we see only protests of some people ... but in the last weeks there was nothing in the news.
@smsan22 ... Do you know what is written in the european contract? ... There is written, that the police is allowed to kill people who demonstrate in a way as many italians did it in rome, few weaks ago. Nearly nobody knows this. This was made for situations like this protests in greece, rome, london, paris and so on ... and it will happen much more often in the future, ... because the people get poorer and poorer. The enemy is our all system, the money and this fake-demogracy
@feuerwassergeist I don't know if it's true,if this was true we would have seen a lot of people killed during the last riots. But you are right when you say that this is a fake democracy.Eu is like a dictatorship and if the things will become worst in the next months I'm afraid we may see revolutions and chaos in some countries. I used a wrong word in my last comment, what I wanted to say is that there are more people who are suffering in greece than in your country
i think by publishing the cuts, that woman realised the forthcoming pain for their people. i have a wish for elsa. after realising comes fighting...good luck. greets from germany
She may be having an "emotional moment", but it is the citizens of Europe that will be kicked in the teeth when the cuts begin to bite.......Thanks to corrupt politicians and their financial masters.
and one last thing.. Italians you voted for a corrupted circus man (Berlusconi) and we voted for a series of idiots. We voted for them. Let s keep this in mind everytime we blame the euro..
I see a lot of fighting spirit against european union and someone in his revolutionary hormones calling the minister a bitch. Guys this is not Lybia. We don;t smash someones head and then play football with it. Europeans united because they wanted to put and end to all the wars between them.. They failed but this was the vision they started with..
lets revolt all nations together against the sharks next years...we dont have anything to separate us...they will loose everything (the banksters) if we take back our lives
I'm Portuguese and I have to say that I would like to have a minister as human as this lady. She is an example of what a leader has to be! Not like the ones we currently have. FUCK YOU Angela Merkel and FUCK Eurozone and FUCK €! Europe doesn't work as one! How much longer will this last and how much poorer should people be, so governments can realize that!!
@rmacurado in germany we will vote against merkel to end aid payments. i agree the euro has failed. maybe the southern states of europe can make their own union.
@godzilla1348 LOL! The southern states of Europe united ( the poor Europe) and the Elite Europe( Germany and France)! Fuck that! Each country for itself like it was before! When Portugal joined the Euro everything doubled the price but the salaries didn't! Some people got very rich and most of the population became poorer! It has been the degradation of my country since this EURO shit began!
@rmacurado well the same arguments are made by germans. everyone says everything got more expensive here. but listen the door is open and i hope you guys walk out soon. since you think its bad for portugal and i am tired of paying for eu projects with german tax money or buying greek, italian, spanish debt that the banks dont want anymore you should vote to leave. no one is stopping you. you can make your alliances and so can we.
@godzilla1348 I can see that you have inherited some of Hitler's points of view! Like all germans! Lol! Sadly, that decision is not on my hands! Europe is falling apart man and Germany is going to go down on Moody's ratings! And both China and Russia will not ally with Germany like the Euro was supposed to be, in theory! But keep dreaming and have a good live with the bitch that runs your country!
@rmacurado you mean i have hitlers points of view because i believe in freedom and self responsibility. Yes Germany will be downgraded if they continue to underwrite other debt. that is clear and should happen. and merkel will soon be gone my friend for doing just that. leading us to a downgrade and assuming greek, spanish, italian liabilities in the name of solidarity betraying her country.
@godzilla1348 Solidarity? There is no such thing, it is a commercial and political agreement. A weaker currency makes Germany more competitive as an exporter country and the current political negotiations are all being held according to Germany's own convenience in many ways. They are not buying it cheap, but they are BUYING, not giving anything as a gift. Anyway, don't take me wrong, I don't think there is anything wrong about it. But Merkel is not being "generous", trust me.
@KillingM4ch1n3 yes agreed, thats why they should get rid of the common currency. this way no one feels treated unfairly. i meant generous because merkel wanted much higher write offs for the banks than sarkozy since french banks hold the most greek bonds.
@rmacurado and i do not care if it goes down. germany's economy is an industrial based economy. the demand for our products will come back and a recovery will be swift. if not it doesnt matter, i rather live with people that know how to build and construct things than investment bankers or musicians etc.
These are crocodile's tears, my friend. Don't let appareances fool you. She is a pitiful actor.
@bi8koto What are you understanding ? She's crying because at last she's on the podium! It is not part of politics, this is a new technical government who voted no Italian , not politicians, they are now all silent! She's working for a dictator! Greetings from Italy.
See in the US, we had our pensions blown up by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Citigroup. No one went to jail. Meanwhile the congressmen/women blew up our gov budgets with war after war.... Now they want to impose austerity on the poor while asking nothing of the rich. Maybe the story is not exactly the same in Europe but the end result is. AUSTERITY ON THE POOR. At the same time they are systematically lowering wages around the world. We the people better get our heads out of our butts. :/
Germany borrows at 1.76-2.2 then lends at 7 -8.5. Germany defaulted 3 times in the past and if it wasn't for the London Agreement of the 1953 Germany wouldn't have survived.
This women is sincerely emotionally moving to witness. Here in Spain our socialist officals of both sexes, have only shown interest in getting personally rich. This is going to change soon. Europe is headed for some very bad times indeed.
This woman is crying because of the lies she was told to repeat and the of the great worldwide unrest coming soon, not because of the cuts in pensions.
@TheDeaBunker she's a teacher and not a politician, her purpose is another. She doesn't tell lies just because she's a minister since 18 days, they're trying to save us without earning any money, what you said is uncorrect.
Jp Morgan chase, Goldman-sachs, Rockefeller will crash the markets like they did almost 100 years ago drive the world into extreme poverty as the build up to Worldwar III
Begins

What´s right now happening in Italy and Greece is the markets imposing their power on the democratic institutions.
Governments that were not elected, control from international organisations and lack of respect from countries of the North towards those, much more ancient and troubled, countries of the South: is this not a proof of democracy losing its strength?
Europe is the richest and most civilised place on Earth right now, and by an American artificial crisis it pays for its superiority.
@geniousboyGR Only one thing: in a parliamentary republic the government is never elected, the parliament is. Berlusconi was elected as mp, then the President of the Republic appointed him as prime minister and the parliament gave him a confidence vote. Now the same parliament gave Monti a confidence vote. I think that Greece has the same sistem. Democracy in Greece and Italy didn't lose strength because of conspirations from outside...
... but for the poor choises of its citizens: in Italy we elected bandits and whore in parliament, we gave the power to the worst people of our nation, and not only since the 2006. In Greece people did the same. Surely a lot of Greeks and Italians did the right choces, but they (we) were minorities, and in a democracy everybodies pay for the mistakes of ignorant and uninformed majorities who believes in the fairy tales of demagogues.. it's sad, but it's true
@diaurus84 In Greece the prime minister can only be elected by the people, as the president of the first party and it's the president of the republic who's elected by the parliament. What's happening now is allowed by the constitution, under the condition that such governments are apparted by all parties, while now only 3 out of 6 parties are part of this government. In democratic times, such things have never happened in Greece, this is the cradle of democracy, we're not kidding about it...
The way the Eurozone was created only favorites Germany. How many German companies in the last 10 years have milking money from Greece? How many German companies and banks are the real beneficiaries from the crisis? The crisis ballooned thanks of Merkels lack of initiative and stubbornness? Why Germans are against Greece when Germany nave a lot to blame to? All this is more like revenge not solutions
@sakarinis actually merkel gave you much better terms than sarkozy wanted. france holds the largest amount of greek debt and also your own banks. the national bank of greece. you guys should default and then we are all happy. greece will get its own currency again and this whole circus has an end. greece can be on its own, i would be completely happy with that. no eu aid payments though from germany.
@sakarinis The Euro zone was created by France and England because Mitterand and Thatcher wanted to kick Germany into the nuts. Dogs in the Manger ...
As a german, I tell you we are not against Greece or Geeks. They are trying to draw this image, but it just poor propaganda. What our politicians did, was delaying the filing of insolvency, so banks woudln't loose money. And now they're letting you pay. We have to unite as european people and let us not devide appart by our politicians. But in times where Standard and poors tell us what our contries are worth, our love for our neighbours falls first. Don't let that happen.
This year, in my island, Skiathos, many people from German, Holland or Sweden went to the restaurants, supermarkets, beaches etc and refused to pay when leaving, claiming that they already paid by their taxes in their homelands, even mentioning phrases like "you're our slaves", "you're our servants".
Also, we know about Greek people being hit or cursed or fired from their jobs because they're Greek, as if they were black people in the 19th century.
Well, it's fair to call this hate. But it's only stupid people who fell for the mainstream media propaganda. I hope you don't put all germans in that basket. Next time, ask them if they know where their money went! Because we all know, it's not going to the greeks. It went to the banks. You guys have to fight for your survival. But we don't here much about you protesting in the news. Only on web. I apologize for any inconvenience any german gave you.
Standard & Poor's is threatening to downgrade the credit rating of 15 eurozone countries, saying the worsening debt crisis is affecting the bloc's strongest economies.
The decision Monday to put 15 eurozone countries, including AAA-rating nations such as Germany and Luxembourg, on watch for a possible downgrade piles pressure on eurozone leaders to find a solution to the currency union's debt troubles .
Shut your mouth stupids and stop blame Greece .Merkel is a stupid bitch
@sakarinis yes and if you read into it you would see that the downgrade would happen if germany assumes more liabilities for greece and italy. Standard and Poors has threatened to downgrade Germany if Eurobonds were introduced. read the full story but its good, greece will need more educated people. p.s. we agree merkel is a stupid bitch and is betraying germany. it is against the german constitution to pay your debts.
@sakarinis germany's borrowing rates have hit record lows because its seen as the only safe place in europe. germany will not be able to sell its bonds in the future, if they dont rule out eurobonds. would you buy a german bond today at 2% when you know that germany will pay 5% if it agrees to eurobonds. you would loose money. it will never happen. before that there will be election and germans will throw merkel out and we both have peace.
@godzilla1348 You're right it's surely unfair for Germans to pay that debts.Greeks in majority realize that. But we really don't like when shitty magazines and newspapers like Bild and Focus are showing hatred against Greeks,Italians and Spaniards forgetting all the solidarity part that Germany could show at the time we're having efforts to restructure our economy with great sacrifises!I don't know if that's the opinion of all Germans is what we see in Bild but if yes it's at least dissapointing!
@hunchy1990 you make a good point. i think its time to just go separate ways. this system that merkel wants to impose is not popular with the germans and not with the greeks. The Euro was supposed to unite not divide. its separating us! No one should be held liable for someones elses mistakes. greece would have to make these cuts anyways without the bail out so its time to end this. i dont want to subsidize the corruption in greece. its wrong!
@godzilla1348 The corruption you're refering here let all this lending continuing and the majority of people living with few.And actually I don't think that if Greece go out Euro the better days for eurozone won't come!Maybe the opposite, with unbalanced economies and unstabilized debts leaving the currency as well!Maybe Germany also will leave euro earlier than we'll do.I mean the country that only benefited by euro was Germany.
@godzilla1348 And I'm wondering why EU didn't stop all this lending for the weak economies before all that crisis break out...maybe cos they don't give a penny only some german products to be sold in the bad guys of Eu???Just wondering!!!And btw the bail out are also loans the we should return as well,so I only see few countries lending us winning again some more economic power in the future!
@hunchy1990 you are mistaking the countries with banks. i do not care about deutsche bank or credit suisse. if the greeks never pay their loans than that is a risk they took. german tax payers are asked to buy greek bonds that are worthless from the banks now. greece has been an aid receiver in the eu meanwhile germany pays 30% of all the aid in the EU. i think we both agree in a way. i will vote for a party in germany that will wants out as well.
@hunchy1990 if it was about german products, why would germany not just give the loans to germans and have them consume the products. there is no trick. and greece will need to leave and start over. make the structural changes and maybe start building something.
@godzilla1348 Cos they didn't want only to sell their products only in Germany. They wanted to substain economic growth in EU and sell as more products they could,it's how companies work!Well,I'm not sure that Germany or any other nation will get anything if Greece leaves euro. And I don't say that cos I'm greek, people here just didn't want to enter Greece eurozone. If Greece will make out then the economic problems of a part of EU will be solved,Germany will take back it's money and gain power.
@hunchy1990 well if you put it that way than germany is like an angel wanting economic growth for everyone. btw greece could do the same for us then, send us money and we will buy all your stuff i promise. but the reality is businesses dont care who consumes their products, if in germany or italy it doesnt matter as long as the money comes back to company. if you dont pay your bills that is fine. let those german companies fail as they should! look the deutsche mark vs the drachma
@godzilla1348 I never say that we should start war against Germans or that drachma will ever be as equal as mark! But if you didn't realised that germans are also starting being the black sheep of Europe as well, not for their economy as Greece became, but for its politics. And Germany is not an angel,is just a country who wnats to gain power of total EU and also save his ass!And thats what I told before, companies want sales..if a country of 80 millions is not enough selling in others.
@hunchy1990 yes the germans are being the black sheep. i think its wrong what germany is doing. we shouldnt tell the greeks what to do at all. two years ago greece should have defaulted and than there would be no discussion about all this. in order for us to have peace in europe our nations need to be independent.
@godzilla1348 Yes,the bankrupty of Greece would calm markets or maybe not!Well,I don't think politicians are that stupid to just leave out a country of a union to fail not because like Greeks just because they don't want it's consequences of sth like this in their economy!!!Cmon they just could push a button and leave Greece out and live with their cosequences of sth like that!Maybe not the best for all Europe!
@hunchy1990 should our politics be dictated by stock markets? should our democracies be at the mercy of that. sometimes companies fail and there are big failures. that is part of the life, but this way the people that were wrong to lend greece money will fail and other responsible companies will buy them cheaply. greece will have a very very hard time but the future will be better for greece as well as for germany as well.
@hunchy1990 and we both know that this isnt even about greece really failing. its about a lehman like event that will set of a domino effect causing italy to default as well. but so be it!
@godzilla1348 Couldn't agree more about lehman brothers collapse!Sth like this shows that the problems are mainly systemical and a whole monetaristique method of moving money is completely failed!Maybe EU and US just don't want to admit it!!
@godzilla1348 Yes,we should be against all these bankers who lending nations knowing their economic situation and size!Anyway should leave now!
@godzilla1348 Btw many of german companies have been involved in weird secret tricks to become leaders in some countries of EU.Actually, here in Greece many of them have been found that don't be treated as others with only aim to become the main importer. And as it's known this happened not only in Greece but in many other nations!Everybody should treat these companies with the way they act..like corrupted! But then if many do that the germans won't sell enough!
@hunchy1990 well i believe that those companies should not be paid and be kicked out if you think that is right. i dont care if a german companies gets paid or not. but the companies should take the losses. german tax payers should not pay for the losses. not to be offensive but i think you are overestimating how big of an export market greece really is. regardless greece should stand on its own and not receive a single euro more. at the same time dont pay the german companies
@hunchy1990 and i am not saying the eu politicians arent in on it. they never even checked the greek books because they didnt want to before greek entered the currency. but its time we end this corrupt system on both ends.
@godzilla1348 I agree only at the part that whole EU needs immidiate acts to solve it and restructure economies but with the same politics.Euro was built in a basis that everyone has euro and everyone do what he wants. Not the same politic...that was the problem that caused europe major problems. We're in trouble as well as France is in trouble,Spain,Italy and Belgium and who knows who is next!If the fire didn't start in Greece surely another country would have been the problem!
@hunchy1990 yes i agree with you. but we dont need more of the same bad policies. i dont want to pay for france either just as i dont expect the french to pay german debt. we need to keep democracies alive and that means more local governing. germany and greece using the same currency is madness. the deutschmark traded at 240 to 1 in 1994.
@godzilla1348 It's not only greek problem but yours as well! When we signed to enter eurozone Germany as well as Greece agreed to have the same currency! If Germany or Greece or any other don't want EU and its ideas I think it would be better to leave! But don't be part of a union and blame others for that! The problem is politics someone need to become equal!
@hunchy1990 yes my friend i agree. look we could be friends. but we both feel like one is stealing from the other right? this is the time where you have to draw the line and let the chips fall. other countries may have to leave the currency as well its not just greece, but this is best for all of us, because otherwise we are fighting each other thinking we are both treated unfairly.
@godzilla1348 I have nothing to fight against a german as well I think a german should have nth against a greek! That was the main purpose of EU,everyone to have a voice and cooperate with others cultural, political adn so on!When euro adoppted all this EU feeling get lost in once!Well,I'm not that opposite against you, concerning the greek politicians,I would be in the same if I were in your shoes! But we're not talking about the stupid politicians but the future of some nations!
@hunchy1990 i agree. and i respect your opinion. the only way we can ensure peace is if we believe in our democracies. we should co-operate as nations, but the euro is not doing any good for the peace of our respective nations. if i were you i would not pay back the german companies. the greek politicians have lived like kings and at the same time german bankers have made a lot of money. that is not the true face of our nations. we are a lot more alike.
@hunchy1990 greece has defaulted many times in its history and even chased bankers out of their cities. i dont protect these people. they want to take from me as they take from you. either way we are supposed to pay for their mistakes and fight.
@godzilla1348 Every nation has defaulted once...even Germany didn't pay for it's debts in '60s and after war loans and now is a strong economy.Maybe the solution would be the change of all the economic system.Well,I just couldn't see pictures like in Argentina killing people in riots! What the hell we're in Europe, usually don't act like this! But still we have to move in the pace that these economic structures want and we should make it!Who knows???Maybe problems will be solved!
@godzilla1348 But there are no magical solutions. We'll do our efforts till max although they're killing us and hope that sth change in the future! And maybe the whole dissapoitment for other nations and hostility and Greeks as well as Germans be proud for it's sustainable help...
@hunchy1990 i really hope it will turn out that way. seems like we dont have a choice at this point anymore. i hope the greek people will be united and make the right choices. have a good day my friend. i thank you for the discussion.
It can see from the comments so much frustration and arrogance. It seems that the all the world and not only Italy, is suffering, for one reason or another . And all Nations, however, deserve RESPECT.
It’s about time people stop the blame game. At the beginning were Greece fault then Italy Spain and the other countries will follow? Do not be so naïve this is a very well executed plan. The powers responsible to created this chaos are the same one which are been called to give the solutions. We are in the steps of a new era of financial slavery, worldwide. No country is safe
sacrifices? why should the poorer and older generation suffer along with the younger generation whos future will be robbed by these gangsters the banks made this mess the banks should be made to clean it up not pensioners!
You don't deserve it Italy. This is not happening to you because you lived beyond your means. This is happening to you because your government sold you out to the bankers. Real talk....
@newave123456 Unfortunately our governments thought it was best to either avoid or postpone the problems we had. The right-wing politicians lied to us about our country's blatant recession and decided to invest on short term results that would give the gullible part of the population the impression of improvement. All they did was cut on research, cut on education, indirectly help tax evasion and find new ways to put corrupted money in their pocket. Fitting title:"Chronicles of a Death Foretold"
@BuRnReal It started at least 5yrs ago, there was a 3 billion dollar con in Britian that sent a snow ball effect that unravelled Enron in the process. I believe the big Japanese property scandel that happened just before split the seems, so to speak.
So I'm telling this my Italian brothers, you don't have to pay any of the mistakes done from your incappable politicians. And became a lost generation like us in Greece. You are a mediterranean country like mine, we don't have nothing to be jelouse about from those that today are insulting and ctiticising us.
@Spartan19891 Spartan you should be getting a job and working if you really loved your country. instead of taking credit for achievements of your people hundreds of years ago, you should consider doing something for your country. germany cant wait for you to leave the eurozone and have leaders that dont see germany's future with greece but with china etc. soon greece will be an extension of africa on the european continent. no more money for you lazy bastards.
@godzilla1348 First, be brave enough to pay off the war reparations and then start talking the way you do, you fucking fascist. And remember, the Greeks are the most hard working people according to recent global survey. Finally, kiss my ass and lick my balls, PLEASEEEEEEEE
@kgrigor1966 krigor, what survery are you referring to? back up your claims? dont do this typical greek thing of talking........2nd you will default and you will loose your pensions soon and your country will get back its currency so that even a scooter from italy will cost you fortunes. Tell me one thing Germans will lose if that happens? We can buy our olives from Turkey. Greece is a burden to the whole system. stop dreaming. turkey took over crete and you couldnt do anything.
@godzilla1348 And further information for your knowledge, no logic country would expecting to be saved by taking more loans at same time that already ows 250 billion euros.Further more, all of E.U. countries have debts, Italy had the bigest, so sit and think why all this countries like Portugal and Ireland Spain are following the same path with Greece. Is it because they are not working hard enaugh???
@godzilla1348 You should know first loud mouth that my father was working in two jobs so we can live and pay for my education. Now I am in my final year at university, studing sport managment, I speak english and spanish, and I have no future in my country. And many greeks are in the same situation like me. So before you condem my country or Italy you should pay of your 4,7 trillion debt. And something alse we din't want the help from Germany this prick Papandreou did.
Italy compering with my country Greece is just in the begining, the austerity mesurs that are being taken now in Italy are nothing, this is the begining of the end, like it happened for my country. Now 2 years have pased and the economic ability of the average greek has returned to 60s and we haven't seen any improve in our economy and above all we have Germany insulting us calling us pigs. The whorst is that they WANT A EUROPE SOMETHING LIKE CHINA with cheep labor hands.

All Western countries have seen their jobs been cut out and being shipped where it was cheaper both because of business interests and EU directives. Facts remain..you stated originally that Italy will end up like Greece, facts are that's never gonna be that bad because of the superior industrial potential.

It has been the degradation of my country since this EURO shit began!

@rmacurado well the same arguments are made by germans. everyone says everything got more expensive here. but listen the door is open and i hope you guys walk out soon. since you think its bad for portugal and i am tired of paying for eu projects with german tax money or buying greek, italian, spanish debt that the banks dont want anymore you should vote to leave. no one is stopping you. you can make your alliances and so can we.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 I can see that you have inherited some of Hitler's points of view! Like all germans! Lol! Sadly, that decision is not on my hands! But keep dreaming and have a good live with the bitch that runs your country!
rmacurado 2 months ago 2
@rmacurado you mean i have hitlers points of view because i believe in freedom and self responsibility. Yes Germany will be downgraded if they continue to underwrite other debt. that is clear and should happen. and merkel will soon be gone my friend for doing just that. leading us to a downgrade and assuming greek, spanish, italian liabilities in the name of solidarity betraying her country.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Solidarity? There is no such thing, it is a commercial and political agreement. A weaker currency makes Germany more competitive as an exporter country and the current political negotiations are all being held according to Germany's own convenience in many ways. They are not buying it cheap, but they are BUYING, not giving anything as a gift. Anyway, don't take me wrong, I don't think there is anything wrong about it. But Merkel is not being "generous", trust me.
KillingM4ch1n3 2 months ago 10
@KillingM4ch1n3 yes agreed, thats why they should get rid of the common currency. this way no one feels treated unfairly. i meant generous because merkel wanted much higher write offs for the banks than sarkozy since french banks hold the most greek bonds.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@rmacurado and i do not care if it goes down. germany's economy is an industrial based economy. the demand for our products will come back and a recovery will be swift. if not it doesnt matter, i rather live with people that know how to build and construct things than investment bankers or musicians etc.

What´s right now happening in Italy and Greece is the markets imposing their power on the democratic institutions.
Governments that were not elected, control from international organisations and lack of respect from countries of the North towards those, much more ancient and troubled, countries of the South: is this not a proof of democracy losing its strength?
Europe is the richest and most civilised place on Earth right now, and by an American artificial crisis it pays for its superiority.
geniousboyGR 2 months ago 10
@geniousboyGR Only one thing: in a parliamentary republic the government is never elected, the parliament is. Berlusconi was elected as mp, then the President of the Republic appointed him as prime minister and the parliament gave him a confidence vote. Now the same parliament gave Monti a confidence vote. I think that Greece has the same sistem. Democracy in Greece and Italy didn't lose strength because of conspirations from outside...
diaurus84 2 months ago
... but for the poor choises of its citizens: in Italy we elected bandits and whore in parliament, we gave the power to the worst people of our nation, and not only since the 2006. In Greece people did the same. Surely a lot of Greeks and Italians did the right choces, but they (we) were minorities, and in a democracy everybodies pay for the mistakes of ignorant and uninformed majorities who believes in the fairy tales of demagogues.. it's sad, but it's true
diaurus84 2 months ago
@diaurus84 In Greece the prime minister can only be elected by the people, as the president of the first party and it's the president of the republic who's elected by the parliament. What's happening now is allowed by the constitution, under the condition that such governments are apparted by all parties, while now only 3 out of 6 parties are part of this government. In democratic times, such things have never happened in Greece, this is the cradle of democracy, we're not kidding about it...

Shut your mouth stupids and stop blame Greece .Merkel is a stupid bitch
sakarinis 2 months ago
@sakarinis yes and if you read into it you would see that the downgrade would happen if germany assumes more liabilities for greece and italy. Standard and Poors has threatened to downgrade Germany if Eurobonds were introduced. read the full story but its good, greece will need more educated people. p.s. we agree merkel is a stupid bitch and is betraying germany. it is against the german constitution to pay your debts.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@sakarinis germany's borrowing rates have hit record lows because its seen as the only safe place in europe. germany will not be able to sell its bonds in the future, if they dont rule out eurobonds. would you buy a german bond today at 2% when you know that germany will pay 5% if it agrees to eurobonds. you would loose money. it will never happen. before that there will be election and germans will throw merkel out and we both have peace.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 You're right it's surely unfair for Germans to pay that debts.Greeks in majority realize that. But we really don't like when shitty magazines and newspapers like Bild and Focus are showing hatred against Greeks,Italians and Spaniards forgetting all the solidarity part that Germany could show at the time we're having efforts to restructure our economy with great sacrifises!I don't know if that's the opinion of all Germans is what we see in Bild but if yes it's at least dissapointing!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 you make a good point. i think its time to just go separate ways. this system that merkel wants to impose is not popular with the germans and not with the greeks. The Euro was supposed to unite not divide. its separating us! No one should be held liable for someones elses mistakes. greece would have to make these cuts anyways without the bail out so its time to end this. i dont want to subsidize the corruption in greece. its wrong!
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 The corruption you're refering here let all this lending continuing and the majority of people living with few.And actually I don't think that if Greece go out Euro the better days for eurozone won't come!Maybe the opposite, with unbalanced economies and unstabilized debts leaving the currency as well!Maybe Germany also will leave euro earlier than we'll do.I mean the country that only benefited by euro was Germany.
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 And I'm wondering why EU didn't stop all this lending for the weak economies before all that crisis break out...maybe cos they don't give a penny only some german products to be sold in the bad guys of Eu???Just wondering!!!And btw the bail out are also loans the we should return as well,so I only see few countries lending us winning again some more economic power in the future!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 you are mistaking the countries with banks. i do not care about deutsche bank or credit suisse. if the greeks never pay their loans than that is a risk they took. german tax payers are asked to buy greek bonds that are worthless from the banks now. greece has been an aid receiver in the eu meanwhile germany pays 30% of all the aid in the EU. i think we both agree in a way. i will vote for a party in germany that will wants out as well.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 if it was about german products, why would germany not just give the loans to germans and have them consume the products. there is no trick. and greece will need to leave and start over. make the structural changes and maybe start building something.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Cos they didn't want only to sell their products only in Germany. They wanted to substain economic growth in EU and sell as more products they could,it's how companies work!Well,I'm not sure that Germany or any other nation will get anything if Greece leaves euro. And I don't say that cos I'm greek, people here just didn't want to enter Greece eurozone. If Greece will make out then the economic problems of a part of EU will be solved,Germany will take back it's money and gain power.
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 well if you put it that way than germany is like an angel wanting economic growth for everyone. btw greece could do the same for us then, send us money and we will buy all your stuff i promise. but the reality is businesses dont care who consumes their products, if in germany or italy it doesnt matter as long as the money comes back to company. if you dont pay your bills that is fine. let those german companies fail as they should! look the deutsche mark vs the drachma
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 I never say that we should start war against Germans or that drachma will ever be as equal as mark! But if you didn't realised that germans are also starting being the black sheep of Europe as well, not for their economy as Greece became, but for its politics. And Germany is not an angel,is just a country who wnats to gain power of total EU and also save his ass!And thats what I told before, companies want sales..if a country of 80 millions is not enough selling in others.
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 yes the germans are being the black sheep. i think its wrong what germany is doing. we shouldnt tell the greeks what to do at all. two years ago greece should have defaulted and than there would be no discussion about all this. in order for us to have peace in europe our nations need to be independent.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Yes,the bankrupty of Greece would calm markets or maybe not!Well,I don't think politicians are that stupid to just leave out a country of a union to fail not because like Greeks just because they don't want it's consequences of sth like this in their economy!!!Cmon they just could push a button and leave Greece out and live with their cosequences of sth like that!Maybe not the best for all Europe!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 should our politics be dictated by stock markets? should our democracies be at the mercy of that. sometimes companies fail and there are big failures. that is part of the life, but this way the people that were wrong to lend greece money will fail and other responsible companies will buy them cheaply. greece will have a very very hard time but the future will be better for greece as well as for germany as well.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 and we both know that this isnt even about greece really failing. its about a lehman like event that will set of a domino effect causing italy to default as well. but so be it!
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Couldn't agree more about lehman brothers collapse!Sth like this shows that the problems are mainly systemical and a whole monetaristique method of moving money is completely failed!Maybe EU and US just don't want to admit it!!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 yes and the messed up thing is that we are accusing each other all though we both are suffering at the hands of the same type of people.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Yes,we should be against all these bankers who lending nations knowing their economic situation and size!Anyway should leave now!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Btw many of german companies have been involved in weird secret tricks to become leaders in some countries of EU.Actually, here in Greece many of them have been found that don't be treated as others with only aim to become the main importer. And as it's known this happened not only in Greece but in many other nations!Everybody should treat these companies with the way they act..like corrupted! But then if many do that the germans won't sell enough!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 well i believe that those companies should not be paid and be kicked out if you think that is right. i dont care if a german companies gets paid or not. but the companies should take the losses. german tax payers should not pay for the losses. not to be offensive but i think you are overestimating how big of an export market greece really is. regardless greece should stand on its own and not receive a single euro more. at the same time dont pay the german companies
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 and i am not saying the eu politicians arent in on it. they never even checked the greek books because they didnt want to before greek entered the currency. but its time we end this corrupt system on both ends.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 I agree only at the part that whole EU needs immidiate acts to solve it and restructure economies but with the same politics.Euro was built in a basis that everyone has euro and everyone do what he wants. Not the same politic...that was the problem that caused europe major problems. We're in trouble as well as France is in trouble,Spain,Italy and Belgium and who knows who is next!If the fire didn't start in Greece surely another country would have been the problem!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 yes i agree with you. but we dont need more of the same bad policies. i dont want to pay for france either just as i dont expect the french to pay german debt. we need to keep democracies alive and that means more local governing. germany and greece using the same currency is madness. the deutschmark traded at 240 to 1 in 1994.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 It's not only greek problem but yours as well! When we signed to enter eurozone Germany as well as Greece agreed to have the same currency! If Germany or Greece or any other don't want EU and its ideas I think it would be better to leave! But don't be part of a union and blame others for that! The problem is politics someone need to become equal!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 yes my friend i agree. look we could be friends. but we both feel like one is stealing from the other right? this is the time where you have to draw the line and let the chips fall. other countries may have to leave the currency as well its not just greece, but this is best for all of us, because otherwise we are fighting each other thinking we are both treated unfairly.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 I have nothing to fight against a german as well I think a german should have nth against a greek! That was the main purpose of EU,everyone to have a voice and cooperate with others cultural, political adn so on!When euro adoppted all this EU feeling get lost in once!Well,I'm not that opposite against you, concerning the greek politicians,I would be in the same if I were in your shoes! But we're not talking about the stupid politicians but the future of some nations!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 i agree. and i respect your opinion. the only way we can ensure peace is if we believe in our democracies. we should co-operate as nations, but the euro is not doing any good for the peace of our respective nations. if i were you i would not pay back the german companies. the greek politicians have lived like kings and at the same time german bankers have made a lot of money. that is not the true face of our nations. we are a lot more alike.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@hunchy1990 greece has defaulted many times in its history and even chased bankers out of their cities. i dont protect these people. they want to take from me as they take from you. either way we are supposed to pay for their mistakes and fight.
godzilla1348 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 Every nation has defaulted once...even Germany didn't pay for it's debts in '60s and after war loans and now is a strong economy.Maybe the solution would be the change of all the economic system.Well,I just couldn't see pictures like in Argentina killing people in riots! What the hell we're in Europe, usually don't act like this! But still we have to move in the pace that these economic structures want and we should make it!Who knows???Maybe problems will be solved!
hunchy1990 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 But there are no magical solutions. We'll do our efforts till max although they're killing us and hope that sth change in the future! And maybe the whole dissapoitment for other nations and hostility and Greeks as well as Germans be proud for it's sustainable help...
hunchy1990 2 months ago

Fully agree. As is with Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Belgium and the list goes on and on.
The whole thing started with the housing collapse in the US a couple of years ago.

Spartan19891 2 months ago
@godzilla1348 You should know first loud mouth that my father was working in two jobs so we can live and pay for my education.
