The guys on Top gear are useless. The M6 has the best 4 wheel drive on the market and it's a merge between an SUV and a sports coupe. Handles like a dream and is capable of some off-roading.

I Had an Fx, 1st generation and I loved it. This however is a totally different animal. 1st its significantly quicker than an fx50s in a straightline, check articles and especially the videos on youtube, then it post a .89g on the skid pad, wehre as the Fx post a .84g. The FX is a great car but it match the torque vectoring all wheel drive and 80 plus pound deficit in torque.

it is not a 5.0 it is not a 4.8 like X5 its a brand new engine and a part of BMWs ridiculous numbering called XDrive50i equal 4.4 TwinTurbo engine boosting 407horsepower and 600Nm

BMW's naming conventions don't strictly follow engine displacement numbers. 5.0 does not necessarily indicate a 5.0 liter engine just like the 335i and 535i have 3.0 liter twin turbo engines. The numbers show how large the engine is relative to other engines in the line up. 5.0 engine is larger than 535i which is larger than 528i, etc. The next 5 series will be a 555i, but it has the same engine as the X6 5.0 not a 5.5 liter engine.
