  • This is gnarly as hell! crazier than stairway.

  • just watching this video was a epic butt hole pinching experience for me.

  • BALLZ!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing! - Mahalo Nui Loa for the great video. Heart pounding and pure adrenaline just watching it.

  • @hehawaiiau07 I can't believe I have let this comment go unnoticed for 3 months. I could just say a lot of shit, explicit that, explicit this, hate message you, blah blah blah, but I wont. You know why? Bcos I stay Hawaiian kine jus like u bruh. In fact it was da amount of negative votes dat got ur msg noticed by me. Ur jus another sad lil HAYN dat makes da rest of us look bad. These guys are all locals to our `aina for probably longer den you were living so dea know what they like do ya...

  • @dgcpinoy Dea been climbing these kine ridges for a long time so dea know what dea doing and I am proud to have um as mah crew. If it was jus you on dis ridge, u prolly no can do um. We all been doing dis for many years and how many times have we needed rescue? Zero. You only say da "haoles" need all da rescues and waste our tax money. Loko kine like u and me also get rescued from Koko's, Sandy's, Pipe, and hikes. You know dat, I kow dat. True dat, some haole are idiots, but not ALL!

  • @hehawaiiau07 Some haoles are more respectful den some of us lokos so stop singling all da haoles as "shitheads". Welcome to 2012, not 1980. Name one country wea dea no air travel kine. We should be all be happy and live together as one: human beings.

Yea you may like try respond to dis msg but no can for u. I just saving all da embarrassment u make us locals. Try message...

    Shootz! Aloha! Imua!

  • Wut is the joy of these hikes? Haha...dis is sum scary ass shit! U guys are awesome!

  • 1st of all great job on the video, 2nd and more importantly great accomplishment on this hike! I was just here and randomly found myself on this ridge after passing the puka and taking the narrow dirt trail to the left, then the self described 'f@#! me climb' to the ridge. That was exhilarating enough for me, and that is just the beginning! You guys are obviously very experienced and prepared. Never take it lightly, and never forget to appreciate it! Aloha

  • DAMN THAT IS INSANE BUT BEAUTIFUL GOOD JOB

GUYS DAMN MY HANDS WERE SWEATY JUST WATCHIN IT

I CANT DO THAT LIKE MOST PEOPLE WOW CONGRATS YOU ALL ARE

    THE BOMB!!!!

  • i would be SO in love with flat land after that.

  • lmfao im fucking nervous watching this shit lolol

  • Incredible, I want to send this to my avid hiker friends but then I'll be scared they will actually attempt this hike themselves! Aloha

  • Insane awesome! Suicide climb sums it up. You guys hike the Napali Kauai? Like to see that vid

  • to everyone who is hating down below, I've done this hike and I'm 16. it was the one of the best experiences of my life and taught me multiple life lessons. if you think its stupid you have a right to say so but just to let you know if you did it yourself you would realize that theres nothing else like it and it's worth all of the risks involved

  • Well I'm gonna tell you now, that I doubt they care what others think. They'll do what they love, and love what they do, for as long as they possibly can. My only issue is the negativity you're putting out, which in my opinion, is completely unnecessary and makes you look like a douchebag.

  • I'm all for charging for the cost of rescue for people getting hurt in ridiculous hikes like these. It is true though. Watch this vid again. It's a stupid fuckin hike. ..DUMB

  • Beautiful nice views and it's also a stupid fucking hike. I get pissed off at people doing stupid hikes and having to get rescue and air one out there to have to rescue people who do stupid hikes like this.... then fire has to risk their lives.....for what? so you can get a cool vid on youtube?.... This pisses me off more than giving me enjoyment over any views....

  • @woodsrider117 You think posting a negative comment will change anything? Haters gonna hate.

  • @spdhungry That's not haters that's expressing my view on real consequences that happen often for those taking ridiculous chances like what is shown in the video. It's ignorant to me and if you are going to show it on Youtube I'm expressing my view. It probably wont make a difference but if they read this they have a view of what others think.

  • WOW!!! Where is this so that I never make a mistake to hike it!! Nice job on your accomplishment!

  • Grew up on Oahu. Done it a couple times in my life when younger when you didn't realize how close to death you were or cared.

And sorry, but what's up with the medieval battle music. Silly choice.

  • One word: "CRAZY!". You have a long life ahead of you, so please be akamai.

  • Innnnsane! I wanna accomplish that trail and soak in the sights and that rush!!!!

  • I always thought those ridges were unclimbable. I lived there and believe me that rock is NOT like granite. It's rotten and crumbly and wet and the wind up there has got to be at least 30 miles an hour. I never tried that trail. I cannot believe the guy in the plaid pants was just walking along it.

  • What is the music? I love it!

    Thx

  • this must have been a heart pounding experience

  • @Cookiejar808 it was

  • The wide angle caught this nicely. I spent much of my life up on those ridges. some of the razors built up of understory would actually sway back and forth as you crossed them. Good job but you can loose the dramatic sound track. Geez.. Wind and birds is all that belongs up there. And ropes? You kidding me?

  • Fudge that for a carry on!

  • @10:20 I knew that in the end someone had to shoot him to make him stop! :D

    no really, kudos guys!

  • What music is this?

  • @JordashTalon says "escape" by Craig armstrong at the bottom right of the video...

  • nuts!

  • It looks like Avatar :)

  • Absolut verrueckt!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING!! KUPAIANAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • These people should get the Nobel Price of Ballz!!!

  • Aren't Martyna and Allegra woman not guys? lol

  • I did this hike with three others last Sunday. I have done the ridge from the lookout to the W several times, but this time we went through the W and over Lanihuli. I would say it gets easier each time, but catching myself a few times as I mistepped on the narrow ridge did cause adrenline rushes at times. I must have more than 9 lives. It didn't help that it was very wet.

  • Booty Shot @ 2:36

  • CAUTION! THIS TRAIL IS UNIMPROVED.

There are many trails in Hawaii; many of these trails are on private, military or unimproved land. Many trails are not maintained for public use and have dangerous conditions that will present a risk to hikers. In other words, nothing has been done for your safety. Therefore, it is highly recommended that people who want to enjoy our beautiful forest and back-country areas only use open, improved, maintained and legal trails.

    Mahalo,

  • There's no way I could have made this hike. It would have been a suicidal act for me.

    Amazing human courage.

Salute to the hikers. I envy your courage, stamina & passion for hiking!

  • This is unnecessary distruction of an environment that took aeons to create.

  • 3 people chickened out because they ain't got da mana!

  • this is freaking suicidal behaviour

I am sick, nauseous and dizzy watching even 1 min of it.

goats do that, they have reason

why do people need to risk thier lives? to prove what? to whom?

or is therapeutic?? to cure the fear of hights??

and the biggest questions (after the big "WHY?" ) - how are you going to do down??? tumble?? jump??? crazy people.

  • @drlutskovsky: why do people surf 50+ft waves?

"and the biggest questions (after the big "WHY" ) - how are you going to do down??? tumble?? jump??? crazy people."

You make it sound like these particular people are STILL up there at the moment. Obviously they got back down since this video is on YouTube.

They did not go back down the same way (although people have done the route in reverse as well). They went down a different route (safer route) that also leads to the same summit.

  • @Pinoy01234 "They went down a different route (safer route).." SAFER is a key word. )

  • @drlutskovsky

    why?????

    because THEY CAN!!!!!!

  • CRAZY KIDS

  • crazy, waste time to watch

  • OMG!!!!How did you make yourselves do that climb???!!! Just watching it gave me horrible shivers in my feet, legs and hands--you know, the kind that hurts!! Truly, my jaws were just dropped the whole time I watched it...must have looked really stupid! :):):)

The music was PERFECT !! Really captured the feeling that this was the climb from hell !!! WOW!!!

  • I noticed this was generally a white group of hikers. What if while crossing a ridge, someone fell? Death or critical injury for sure right? With the rescue chopper and the whole nine. Thats why normally only white people are the show called Worlds Dumbess people. You would never catch a black guy, asian or mexican doing stupid stuff like this.

  • @pummelyou So when does your fucking government assistance check show up in your mail box you worthless fuckstick!!!

  • FANTASTIC!

  • Good but I had to fast forward due to the music was too distracting. Seems like it's a scary enough hike so I didn't think you really needed music, good video.

  • NO! Not with a rope, a cable, three strong young men... not even with the cute little blonde's bottom in front of me for inspiration! NEVER in this life... maybe in the next if I get my wings. All respect to the climbers but DANG! I can have fun without that in my agenda. :o)

  • How many 'stitches' did you all need after walking on dem razor's edge ridges? The 'maukas' really humbles you when it treats you to the magnificent views it beholds... Thanks for posting!!! IMUA!!!

  • this rocks, you all must be very experienced people. I don't think even goats could do this.

  • You guys are fearless!!! From where I live, I can see Pu'u Lani Huli. On a rainy day, there are a multitude of waterfalls. I didn't realize that it was so narrow, on the ridge. Just watching the video, makes me nervous...

  • Holy crap you guys are insane and i love it!! That video made my heart race as if i was there. So incredible, i wish i had balls of steel like that.

  • So absolutely incredible.....so impressive.....so off the hook.....I SO NEED TO CHANGE MY SHORTS NOW !!!

Insanity and satisfaction all bundled into one. Well done!

  • awesome yet insane.....all you need is a strong gust of wind and......goodbye T_T

  • Great footage Craig. Brings back some great memories of my Honolulu Fire Department recruit training. Not as radical as what you did but still a blast. We tied off to the metal railing at the Pali Lookout and rappelled 250 feet straight down the sheer face and then hiked back up a different route. One of many adrenaline adventures that were used to prepare us. Stay alive.

  • Out of control...wicked impressive, but I think I'll pass!

  • Jinkies...a couple of spots I would have been hanging on and crying "Mama"!

  • Awesome

  • wicked!!!

  • as Mr T would say you are crazy fools!!

  • Great footage but the music is way OTT.

  • What...the....fuck....

  • As much as I enjoy hiking, I wouldn't hike the Pali Puka Trail; tht involves rock climbing which scares the hell out of me. However, I like the music..

  • Vaya con Dios!

  • This is scared.

    What music is this?

  • 06:59

  • The scariest was a guy doing a chinup on a crane, with no harness at all.

  • madness

  • awesome video just watching it my hands were getting sweaty

  • soo epic bro!

  • Wow! Cuz, You guys really got guts. I have watched almost all of your vids. Seems like they just keep getting riskier. This is a fantastic video, but it scares the heck out of me. I admire your courage and strength. By the way, I LOVE the music you use. Just stay safe. I don't want to read about any of you having bad luck. I pray for you.

  • Scariest video I ever saw and it is not worth it to make videos when you or, anyone else could be at risk of falling down

  • I've watched pretty much all your vids, and this one is by far the scariest!

  • bUT ALsO even if I was not the mountain, this would still be the song going thru my head as im extremely hiking. Peace be thy journey.......

  • Very Great Video who ever you are.. Thy choice of music you have chosen is Properly suited. Because of the Chaos that is going on as of right now, I'm sure there are A lot of extreme hikers that think the mountains don't have feelings. if I was this great mountain looking down upon you folks this would be the very song playing in my head. You want A peaceful tune going on while you see this hiking video but guess what. you have to make that difference to make such a way first. HAWAIIAN.

  • You have nice vids, so don't get me wrong. It's just that your choice of background music is taking away the real feel of your vids. i do alot of extreme hikes too and i think it's better if you tone down your background music and people would rather hear the wind, the labored breathing, the environment that your in, to complete the intensity of this vid and this hike. i still give you a thumbs up though.

  • Great Video. I haven't gone any farther that what you show at 4:42, but I am really looking forward to hearing what Randy has to say about that section and beyond. One day I will make it back.....
