Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but Christian didn't copy anything from the LV FW09/10 collection.

Christian showcased this collection on Thursday, February 19th 2009 at New York Fashion Week. The Louis Vuitton collection wasn't showcased until March 12th 2009 at Paris Fashion Week making it highly unlikely that he took any ideas.

I can only see Christian from this collection. Everything's so him.

Christian is a very smart designer. As a designer myself, I can say that "to be so young" he is somewhat of a prodigy, as his clothes are very technically genius. I agree with others who have stated that his designs are extremely versitle. I give him an A+. You go boy!

I like that this collection is really diverse! There was a lot of more high fashion but also a lot of more pret-a-porter pieces. Really cool!

Though I don't think the shape and headdress of the last look had much relevance to the rest of the collection, nor did that gold suit. Maybe if the suit had stronger shoulders and skinnier pants it would have worked better

This was quite a good collection, it mde me laugh a bit when it says he was inspried by the desert and uses blues.. (blue being water... water ... desert.. no? lol). But anyway really nice collection the dress at 6:14 was gorgeous. The final dress was a bit :/ the headdress was deffinatley inspired by egyption gods.. its a typical looking thing they were drawn wearing..

Lol, I know... but hey, the inspiration was the Egyptians and the Egyptians were famous for their usage of lapis... something, lol. It's that really pretty blue stone you see in Egyptian art a lot. I personally loooooved this collection; so awesome!

Since Project Runway, Christian is one of my favorite designers ever. And that collection confirmed my impressions. The volumous trenchcoats were just wonderful and the vests were, as Christian would say, FIERCE! xD

The leggings were great too, and the look at 2:44 was really great.

It was a super-duper show. I just feel that Christian should make his clothes a little (just a little, almost nothing) wereable. Just that. That collection was fantastic.
