They're far too long for the streets of London. They have three entrances, the front one usually can't be used because the bus has to pull forward of the stop in order not to obstruct traffic, there's no way to ensure that people pay/swipe their Oyster cards, so people hop on and off without paying... and create trouble, knowing that they won't be caught. One dragged a corpse for half a mile before being stopped.
