A run down of all my Blue Quacker Parrot says, Mommy, wtf, whats up, Im a naughty bird, Im a good bird, hello, I love you,whatchaya doin huh, so he is learning so fast. Its so funny to listen to him. He loves his Mommy.

@dogluver4ever08 How old do you think it is? My Quacker tries to bite and I have taught him its not nice and he gives me or who ever he bit kisses. You have to spend alot of time with him each person in the home. I have had mine since he was 3 weeks old, he couldnt even hold his head up. If it bites you take the tip of finger and tap its beak and say no bite. It takes time, eventually it will get it.

my quaker didn't start talking until he was a little over a year or so. but he did copy sounds like our sneezes or laughs. Now we acn't get him to be queit! but i love it :) they definetly have personality. best birds ever. please look at my vids of my quaker Saige!

Mikki was 4 yrs. old at the time. Is your Quaker a male? The males have a larger vocabulary, but even if yours is a female she should start talking anytime. Of course Mikki's first word was "HELLO".

@yocs007 do you let it out of the cage if not it stays in there and is bored if you let it out and it hears you talking it will talk. You can also give it treats when it talks so it will think okay if i keep doing this i'll be rewarded

@yocs007 dont worry mine is 6 months old and i was wondering he wasnt learning anything but a fart noise i was teaching him but he is now 7 months and tells me to "step up" tells me when he wants a "tickle" says "hello" also says "kiss" just hang in there it just takes time and attention

I've got my adopted 4 year old quaker walking on the desk here (and the keyboard :-| ). he can say quite a few things, but I'm trying to train him for others as well. I thought having him here actively listening and mimicking the words on this site might have helped. Think again!

lol, i played this while cleaning my quaker's cage, she was like WTF!? haha, i love quakers, and thier lil voices, mine is about 2 1/2 months old, and she can say "hello" (while bobbing her head) "good gurl" (sounds like that) step up, F*** off (dont ask) and she is learning "i wuv wu" lol, i love quakers, such great talkers too!

Is your Quaker the only bird you have? Because, now that we have 4 different parrots 3 out of 4 are talking and they now learn from eachother. Just keep repeating the word or words you want them to learn. Don't worry yours will be talking soon.

no i have 3 cockatiels(they layed eggs so 3 more on the way) and my mom recently bought a quaker for me so yea... hes a baby. a couple months or so. i jus want him to tlk alreaddddy! =)

That's so cute! I have one and he talks so much, he's learning to say I love you, he already says his name says night night to the dogs, calls my dogs name, says my name, says watch you doing and a bunch of other things he's about 2 now. I love Quakers there so awesome.

Someone actually gave him to me when he was a baby...they go for about $100 or a little more, actually depends.

yeah, i agree, if you wan't a quaker, than it will very, but u want any parrot as a baby if u get one (or at least past the hand feeding stage) my quaker cost me about 250 bucks, but the lady said it was cuz she was the cusest (scammer) any other parrot can even be up to 800 bucks. but its not the starting price, i mean, we have spent over $1000 dollars in the past month or 2 just buying things to support ours, we love to nake everything perfect for her. a great companion to have.
