i have a question sorry im commenting twice but does anything eat horseshoe crab molts? i have one at home i bought for decoration and i keep hearing chewing noises as if theres something inside eating it
their blood is also highly reactive to thing that we are allergic to and so is used in drug testing ..interesting work has been done on how to stop them from bleeding after test samples are removed.
I've read that they have blue blood on account of the cyanoglobin and a copper based agent in their blood, as opposed to the iron in ours. I've just never seen it but, umm, I wouldn't want you to go whacking h-crabs on my account. o.o
dont worry the horseshoe crab is alive and well the video is of only its shed shell...i think your sound doesnt work because i think i expalin that in the vid ..thanks for watching

Horseshoe crab blood is nothing spectacular. You can catch it on nature programs sometimes when they produce LAL (limuli amoebocyte lysate).
