You're arguing who has the right to learn when someone finds new information on a great design or breakthrough in science. You're arguing who has to pay for overpriced and badly regulated software that seeks profit at little interest to the artists or their visions. You're not arguing anything sane at all.
NO, theyre buying the RIGHTS to the music, allowing them to put it on their ipods or whatever the agreement allows, not to share it. But still, theres nothing the govt can legally do about this so the free market will have to adapt .
