Talking to him, I think he is pretty self aware and knows that people are going to see his film as a bit of a joke. He always falls back on "You can laugh, you can cry, you can express yourself, but please don't hurt anybody".

@BoredomCorner For the record, Tommy has since called the whole thing a "misunderstanding". The Nostalgia Critic reviews are back up on BlipTV (where they were originally), and Greg Sestero (Mark) is Facebook friends with both Doug Walker (Critic) and Michael Nelson (Rifftrax). :)
