The Marines is a special force. Just like Navy seals and Army Rangers. The diffrence is The Navy seals and Rangers do there missions with stealth while the Marines will fight in broad day light. It was a realistic movie. That's basically how the Gulf War was. Just waiting and waiting. The part it focused on was the emotional struggle. I found it actually to be one of the best war movies ever, due to the fact that it showed a realistic point of view.

It was a realistic movie. That's basically how the Gulf War was. Just waiting and waiting. The part it focused on was the emotional struggle. I found it actually to be one of the best war movies ever, due to the fact that it showed a realistic point of view.

The bad one is she didn't watch the movie at all, and juste read forum threads, newspaper scraps :/. You don't get anything except the who's who and oh "narration in beginning and end of the movie"; which is Mendes' way of setting and completing the plot in all his movies (or just about). It's poor, and it's too bad
