@DallasFlier I'm not an Iowa fan, but Michigan was a top 20-25 team when they played Iowa. MSU was a good team, they just lost numerous close games that they could have just as easily won. Ya, I agree though, the UNI and ASU games were kinda pathetic so you're right about that. It's also true they played arguably (cincy asside) the weakest team in the bcs. That being said, NW was a good team with a powerful offense, and OSU ONLY won cuz stanzi was hurt. Big 10 will be between wiscy, osu & iowa.
@DallasFlier Michigan was playing their best football and was 4-1 when they played Iowa...Michigan State had the homefield advantage...they were helped TREMENDOUSLY by that...Minnesota...Iowa beat Minnesota 55-0 the year before(with stanzi) and stanzi was injured this year...Iowa was beating Northwestern 14-0 until stanzi got injured! IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME! We took OHIO STATE down to the wire with our back up QB...The worst games were Ark State and UNI...and rlly the only messy game

When Iowa kicks Nebraska's ass?!?!?! ROFLMAO!!!! Now that there is funny, no matter who you are! Most of that video is players getting off the bus, players walking through the tunnel, players walking on the field. Guess there weren't many big plays to highlight, huh? :-)
Actually, it wasn't the Athletic Dept marketing folks (they are still terrible.) The site gohawks.com is actually done by the Iowa Football Program. I guess the Hawk football folks have gotten fed up with the worthless stuff from the Athletic Dept marketing folks, and decided to take matters into their own hands. The website is supposed to be particularly predicated on the concept of marketing the program to recruits and the like.

Squeaked out a win at home against a 5-7 Michigan team
Won very ugly against a 6-7 Minnesota team
Needed a last second prayer to beat a 6-7 Mich. St. team
4-8 Arky St. took them down to the wire at home 24-21
Required 2 last second blocked FG's to beat UNI by one at home
Lost to 8-5 Northwestern at home
Celebrate 2009 as one of your best seasons ever - an ugly 11-2 (could have been 7-6) is as good as it's ever going to get.
