it sounds like you have the wrong power supply because some other electronics of that era tend to do what i call "plug weegee" because eventually it does the same as the weegee virus

Did you solve this problem? I also own one, and the battery is dead so it booted up for the last time in 2004!

I am dying to get it to work again, any ideas on how to fix it?

@adddictedtomacintosh Hey... I *just* finished playing around with one. I went online and found the Enersys (Hawker) Cyclon 0809-0012 X-Cell 6 Volt/5 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery at Amazon for $23. It was recommended highly by some other guy with one of these. I used speaker wire and auto wire clips to attach the wire to the battery and then to the little posts down inside the unit. It powered on (but of course I hear it will do that... the test now is whether it keeps settings!!

Nice video! The error noises sound like a song, pretty kool! I own a 5120 with a working power supply, although I receive the sad Mac face with an error code as well. I'd like to get repaired one day. Thanks for sharing!
