@Messibeckhamlover18 Sorry to hear about that. It's not a matter of paying. It's a matter of having the tracking software on your phone before you lose it. Without it's not possible to track it. Your only chance now is to call your cell phone and hope someone hears it and will return it.
@Messibeckhamlover18 yes you can track it.... by using the IMEI number. all u do is call your service provider, ask him to tell you your Imei of that phone (also ask him to block it, so that if somebody got your phone he/she wont be able to use it at all) then take the IMEI number down to police station and tell them to call your provider and request permission to track your phone.. the IMEI number can also be founded on the box of that phone.

I've got the same webphone and you can take the whole control of your phone anywhere he can be as long as you've got the phone number, sim and data enabled (and androphone a bit charged). GPS it, wipe it, save it ! ring it, send texts...

@TheAnahi2009 I know how you feel. If you don't have power and a signal then you are out of luck. The phone needs a network connection to have any chance of being tracked. Many times folks make the mistake of freaking out when their phone is stolen and they call the provider to shutdown the service thus killing the only link they have of tracking the phone or use of it.

@babyfish3128 Well, unfortunately, the only way is by paying for the mobileme service by Apple. And you have to do that before you lose your phone. It costs $100 on the Apple website but if you go to Amazon website and type in mobileme, you ca get it for $65 for a one year subscription.

@djSpare Yes, it will track almost any phone that is based on java. The only limitation is that some cell phone providers block GPS to developers and require a large fee for a developer license. You just need to install it and try it.

Understood. I totally understand free/paid. You may also want to include which NetBeans app to download. There are several to choose from. I assumed it would be Java and Java SE. This is the list: Java SEJavaFXJavaRubyC/C++PHP or you can download them all. The difference is the download sizes.
The ReadMe.txt file in the download explains how to install the software. It is a little old but I think it can be figured out what the newer versions of the software are. no offense, but if you don't know how to unzip the folder, your probably not capable of programming this into your phone. unzipping folders is something an 80 year old guy could do
if you are going to download things off the internet, first you need to get winzip, as 50% of files out there will come as a zip/rar/iso or whatever, you can then use winzip to extract the files to wherever you want (you open the zipped folder, the folder then opens in winzip, where you can proceed to unzip it or encrypt it or add to it, or whatever you want. @djSpare Yes, it will track almost any phone that is based on java. The only limitation is that some cell phone providers block GPS to developers and require a large fee for a developer license. You just need to install it and try it.

@manofsteelkevo The server side will work with an iphone. I've written an iphone client but have not yet posted it. I'll be coming out with version 3 of the tracker soon that will include the iphone client.

hi , good video but this is far to complicated for me. so this is why i urge you a favour if you can really track a phone . i have lost my phone. its expensive and has confidential details on there which means the phone can not at all fall into the hands of anyone. 07588357847... this is my number ... if you can find my phone and tell me where it is exactly it will be greatly apreciated and i will sureley find some way to return the favour.

Wow... get a clue huh? You call it GPS Tracker and the path is gpsmapper? WTF? Also, your site is not up completely and the link to the source from your site just gives a general lookup page at SourceForge.

Understood. I totally understand free/paid. You may also want to include which NetBeans app to download. There are several to choose from. I assumed it would be Java and Java SE. This is the list: Java SEJavaFXJavaRubyC/C++PHP or you can download them all. The difference is the download sizes.

The ReadMe.txt file in the download explains how to install the software. It is a little old but I think it can be figured out what the newer versions of the software are. Read that and let me know if you have any questions. PM me here on youtube with your email and we can continue through email. But please check out the readme first.

no offense, but if you don't know how to unzip the folder, your probably not capable of programming this into your phone. unzipping folders is something an 80 year old guy could do

if you are going to download things off the internet, first you need to get winzip, as 50% of files out there will come as a zip/rar/iso or whatever, you can then use winzip to extract the files to wherever you want (you open the zipped folder, the folder then opens in winzip, where you can proceed to unzip it or encrypt it or add to it, or whatever you want.
