Say what you want about these people at 'Atheist Station' being militant atheists but I'll take them any day over religious fanatics. Militant atheists aren't shooting at buildings proclaiming messages they disagree with.
Not religious does'nt mean they are atheists, just means they are'nt religious. They may be rationalists and/or non-theisst of other sorts. Also atheism doe snot mean rationalism, empiricism, materialism, humanism, etc; there are atheisst that are supersitious, religious, have faith in concepts beside the god one they don't believe in, some religions are atheistic{sects of buddhism, satanism, paganism, and others}.
All by christians, Buddhisms a religion, do you see buddhist programs,
...buddhist programs? do you see satanist programs? how about wiccan? or vodoo? or any other number of religious programs? I doubt it, not many anyhowfor some of them, NONE!}
You don;t even really see many of these getting ANY representation in the press or media, any voice; but you see Strong Atheists all over the press/media,etc. Atheist thinkers names are household across the western world, but are other rationalist viewpoints or alternative religions, etc? NO!
Ah, but far too many people not only think that they can talk to a deity that other people have invented but also that the deity will listen, care, grant requests, and forgive sins that the inventors invented. Not, of course, that the deluded admit that other people invented the deities in which they believe.
Seeing, hearing, and feeling things that are not there is usually regarded as sign of mental illness.
Sadly true. I do empathize with their desperation. Unfortunately for them, mental health would have been a better coping strategy than delusion. Religion too often gets in the way of healing and indoctrination creates many of the emotional difficulties in the first place.

Question: A. Do religious symbols in public places oppress atheists?
B.Would their removal mean that religious people are oppressed?
Answers: A. YES they show favoritism toward one religion. Christian symbols oppress other religious faiths as well as non-religious people.
B. NO! its only fair that NO ONE, not even an atheist, is allowed to put religious symbols on PUBLIC land!

No ALL ATHEIST programs, blah, blah, blah.
So dualistic.
Theyre are no all deist programs, or all agnostic programs, or all Rationalism{not just atheism} programs.
There are few to none for alternative religions, etc.
This really exposes what this is all about. The dualism of christians vs atheists and atheists vs christians.
Niether is really all that concerned with other voices.

Those of us who are atheists? what about agnostics, and deists, and various fellow rationalists?
What about non-christians/jews of other religious sorts?
Atheists are'nt the only ones beeing disrepsected by the display of the ten commandments, etc.
