  • One of the actresses, Mao Inoue was in tv series "Hana Yori Dango".

  • Mao Inoe!!!!!

    Cute, cute, cute !!!!!

  • Name of the song in the begiinning, plz plz plz

  • @akemiikun that's written in the video, fated by Ayumi Hamasaki.

  • The music that is being played in the beginning of the video, what is it called?

  • This movie was so creepy but so awesome.

  • does anyone know the song thats playing during the first half of this trailer

  • отличный фильм ! мне ооооочень понравился! красочный , захватывающий, колоритный! всем смотреть !!))))

  • chujowe- może to japończyków to straszy... film do dupy

  • Yeah, Kumiko Aso at 1:19! She was in my favorite Japanese horror film Kairo, directed by the uber-talented Kurosawa Kiyoshi. I liked the American remake Pulse, as well. Lovely!

  • this was one of the best

  • dude...i saw this movie with my girlfriend on some channel and it was dark and spooky... the hell is ayumi singing in this? .... sigh*

  • wat on earth is happening at 0:53? wat is wrong with her? wat happend?

  • I watched this before in t.v, with tagalog subtitles, and i enjoyed the entire movie, it was very simple, not really scary for me, but, it has twist and mysteries, not only with shit bloody and creepy scenes which are usually seen in horror movies...and for me was ineteresting also, the old traditional life of japan, what the people wear, how the way of living, for me i found it not boring at all.. and actually, it was my second time to watch here in youtube..thanks for sharing..

  • a remake?

i doubt that it's better than the original

  • Looks pretty shitty ....

  • Can somebody please tell me the name of the actor in this movie who played the lead male role? I saw the film but cannot find his name anywhere.

  • @sultaria his name is Kikunosuke Onoe

  • something that I don´t understand is why the lady ghost is carring the husband´s head only instead of all the corpse (what she´s going to do with a head?)

  • sieht nicht schlecht aus aber kann mir jemand etwas genaurers zu diesen film sagen?

  • Durchschnittlicher Film,nix besonderes!

  • i think it should be left up to japan to make horrors everyone else cant make theme for shit

  • You're right about that, Japanese makes really good horror films. The have great stories, and dont rely on special effects like american movies does. They keep it 'more simple' in a good way.

  • I don't know if Ayumi Hamasaki's music makes a great addition to this film. I mean, I like her and all, but her music doesn't seem to fit...

  • @erikaszabo most agreed, contemporary pop soundtrack is a disturbing attempt to attract another generation to Lafcadio Hearn's (aka Koizumi Yakumo or 小泉八雲, an American-Irish-Greek-Japanese) stories. The music fails miserably in supporting the story and on cross-generational appeal. Have a look at the original cinematic interpretation of Hearn's Japanese ghost stories, the version by Masaki Kobayashi (Kaidan AKA Kwaidan 1964) one of the finest pieces of cinematic art ever put together.

  • @erikaszabo

the lyrics of fated actually fit very well with this movie.

  • i just watched the movie... it was slow and decent, but the scares are frightening

  • wea did u watch tis movie?

  • Yeah, this movie has some really creepy scenes. The open eyes looking at the guy. Eeps!!

  • Poor Shinkichi, women were his downfall.

  • I thought this movie had something to do with the original Kwaidan (or Kaidan) from Kobayashi. Anybody knows it?

  • creepy...this movie came out on my birthday

  • Seems like Hideo Nakata is losing his touch. "The Ring Two" was lame. "L: Change The World" was just ok; doesn't even compare to Shusuke Kaneko's "Death Note" and "Death Note: The Last Name" films. Hideo Nakata was running the show when he made "Ringu" and "Dark Water". I will give "Kaidan" a chance, but I don't have high hopes for this film.

  • Yeah.

    It wasn't that good.

I downloaded it while I was on my xbox.

It was a waste of money to watch.

  • I agree that Ayumai's song was beautiful, but i saw the movie and it was freakin' GAY and CONFUSING! Sorry to those of you who actually liked the movie, but it was really dumb and confusing with all of her students and sisters! And "Shinkichi" was such a dumbass ;P

    I hated the movie............

  • zutto..zutto..zutto.. anata dake.. hehe..!

  • Ayu's song sounds good!!!

  • That song is the ONLY thing I hate about this trailer/film. It really cheapens and destroys the integrity of the story being told in a traditional style. Stop bastardizing it in a Hllywood fashion already!!

  • Japanese movies are like that for some reason. Always the song featured in trailers and credits for horror movies and such make no sense

  • this good movie for us today

  • where can i see the full movie? can anyone tell me? or someone please upload the full movie here? i really wanna watch this movie!! =O

  • A remake I had been away to long. I must check it out.

  • WOW a remake?

  • i love when ayumi's song "Fated" came on!!i love that song!!

  • can someone upload full movie????

  • when the song start playing the trailer no longer looks scary...as expected of Ayumi Hamasaki, as good as always.

  • let me guess... is this about 2 lovers and 1 guy? and then 1 of the girls killed herself... and she wants revenge? Ayu's song sounds so good!!!

  • weird movie but love the song

  • Looks v. good but then trailers often do.

  • wow is she holding a head at the very begining

  • I sure hope so ;-)

  • Dang... that looks good. I hope we can get it subbed over here.

  • ohohooho...creepy movie but looking forwaard wahahah...itz gona be on in 50 countries in the world so it prob would have sub.. it is known as the "one in 10 yrs" biggie movie ...itz a love horror movie...about a wife and her husband who likes to cheat and she commited suicide or soemthign but left a curse that all the woman he has relation w/ will die or somethign around that line

  • Yes! I am looking very forward to the movie, but do you know when it is going to be released in North America? And I too hope that it's going to be a biggie movie around the world because it really represents a beautiful side of the Japanese culture- we've had enough samurai films so now we need to pay more attention to something similar to the Japanese traditional ghost stories!

  • yes its VERY weird... but the Ayu song rocks ^ ^

  • The intro was weird....
