i hav a 98 ss/t blk. i worked for the local dealer ship in new orleans an i ordered my truck with the 355 posi slid rear glass heated mirrors auto dim rear view mirror the infin sound system. im sayn that 2 say everbody who has an ss/t mite have diff options on it becuz mine was built 2 my preference. so ever dealer who sold them orderd the ss/t how they wanted it built.........
SS/T 5.9L from factory has 15hp more then orginal 5.9L. Exhaust (high flow) and performence engine tune.(computer, most likely the Mopar Performence PCM) No different cam or anything like that.
no mopar performance computer, just the high flow exhaust,your right on 15 hp stock factory, have ram indy 1996 same as sst, i added a mopar performance computer,

if it was some POS dakota or ranger and or s10 with a factory 4banger of v6 then i can see being silly, but if you have a SPORT VEHICLE and want to praise it then represent and lite the fucking pavement on fire....

lol the ss/t come with the 17 inch alloy rims has the stripes comes with the hard cover with matching stripes on it.. has better suspension were only made for 2 years 97-98. comes stock with the 360 with exhaust they were designed to be a collectors truck. put a stock ss/t vs a stock 360 bet the ss/t will win!!!
Absolutely nothing special about it accept decals, wheels and suspension. Yes the SST has a stock 360 displacement. Yeeah if you have a RAM with a 360 in it then yes you do have the same drive line as the SST.

The SS/T had a 250 horsepower/345 ft. lbs. 5.9 Magnum. I think the regular Rams made 245 horsepower. Supposedly, the exhaust/muffler is where the extra 5 horses came from. I have often wondered if the 5 horsepower was a lie because my truck seems to run better than other 5.9 powered Rams. One night at the local 1/8 mile track, my 100% stock SS/T was running 0.25 seconds faster than a 5.9 regular cab Ram with a few bolt ons.

badass imma set mine up as an sst. black with dark blue stripes and matching blue sst on the back. rollcage bumper and fiberglass bumper for the front. man that will be sick.
umm your a dumbass, the ss/t are way quicker then the regular 5.9. i know so dont bullshit, they do have a mild cam(same as the dakota r/t) and i totally different tuning. they all are a limited slip as all regular rams are not, although most do not all, they are geared different, and they have nice exhaust system. i am a die hard mopar truck guy so all you guys who is sayin theyre the same they are not!!!
