@mrslafford i have a question about their nose lengh, what is consider a longer nose? since short noise is more desirable, so i dont want to get a maltese with longer nose

you are looking for a balanced head ,

with nose a 1/3 nose and 2/3 head

but mostly look for a good balance, you dont really want it to be to short,
