Dude compare prices. I had one shipped and its now only a year old but I actually wore the original crank out. I even welded on a custom hitch to use one of those kid carriages. The shipping made up for another 1/5th the price, but even repairs are cheap. Even bought me a bigger pedal gear and smaller tire gear for more top end. I have rode this thing 12 hours straight for fun. The name says it all "FUNCYCLE".
@bulgadari I suffered the worst case of road rash I ever had on a long wheel base Infinity recumbent because I forgot to raise the kickstand.. I can't count how many times I busted my butt on motorcycles and didn't bleed as much...
I rode one of those close to 30 years ago and remember that it was a lot of fun.. It would be great if you would build a lower weight high performance version with lighter wheels and a NuVinci CVT hub.

@barflew I am nursing an elbow from a 15 mph flip on one of these. I love them but high speeds and these bikes do not mix.
