  • I have 2 bulging discs at L4-5 I need to strengthen my core but also need to regain my flexibility what would you recommend. My doc says yoga would be good for me.

    I'm doing each pose for like 10 minutes (from Breathing to Tree pose). But I feel exhausted at the end of my routine, it's really hard! Is that ok to do each for about 10 minutes or is it supposed to do it for 2 or 3 minutes like in the videos?

    Really you should not be Dizzy after this . It can be the way that you come out of it . Try going into child's posture afterwards for 30 seconds to a Minute.

    Should I be tensing my arms and legs while both inhaling and exhaling during this pose? I've heard that this pose is good for your back, but I don't really feel much action going on there how I'm doing the pose. Any advice? Thanks a lot in advance.

  • uppityboot Tensing would not be the word I would use more like working and extending . Yes the legs and arms are firm. Back challenges come from surrounding areas once they can support more it helps . You are best to try the full yoga for beginners routine in out playlist for an all over stretch.
