Blues Improvisation Gibson ES135 Marshall Bluesbreaker

you make this sound amazing. im looking into a Marshall Bluesbreaker, and i'd love this tone. But i play live ? and im frightened it breaks up into an overdrive as i'd use an overdrive pedal for that.

I use a Gretsch, Telecaster and a pedal board and i'm in an Alternative/light rock band.

Help ?

@adamhopeless my advice: go to a local music store, tell those men there the same as you told us and then you should be able to try out some of those amps for yourself. your personal feel with it always is worth more than advices of any other people.

@Poise32 You have to spend a heck of a lot of time just getting into the Blues in the first place. Listen to singers of the style. They don't think about scales, they think about the feeling. That's where it all began.

Sweet. I swear I get that same tone through my 65 twin reissue with two tubes pulled. I also play through p90's(maybe they are p100's) in my les paul special jr. lite. Thanks for showing the cleans this amp has.

I may be wrong, but on the 135 pick-ups aren't P 90 but P 100 or classic 57 (you've got the choice between both model. The 135 was replaced by the 137)
