The standard time is 5 days plus 2 days first aid -- however there are dodgey places that will give you a security license without doing the course if you pay and extra fee.

the security courses are a waste of time -- No one can fail the security course -- literialy impossible to fail -- I know people who dont speak a word of english and they still pass

@badpanda84 over here we have to be vetted by the police before we get a licence, i wouldn't go judging the bouncer untill i seen footage, if the guy came at him and he struck him and he fell fracturing his skull in the fall then thats just tough luck. there are fightsweekend night and when you watch with sober eyes as guys get knocked left right and centre it's amazing that more people don't get serious head injuries

Sure you can train people on what they can and can't do --( ie the use of force , report writing etc)

but at the end of the day all you are doing is training people how to pass the test. ( by giving answers they know the examintor want to hear)

Those test are stupid -- people just write what they know the examintor want to hear --

a guy named charlie attacked me while coming out for a ciggy and the securities only held me back and let him punch me,, obviously charlie must have been one of their buddies i guess but my buddies and workmates who work as securities in other clubs were not far away so i escaped unhurt except the guy charlie had a big facial cut, thanks to whoever did that.. i think its not the securities but people who work as securities make all the difference

Anyway, it's not obvious that the patron did something, there is no evidence pertaining to the story contained in this video. The only fact presented was that the bouncer punched him, which is not a bouncer's job. They're supposed to eject people, not punch them to the floor and leave them with a bleeding brain.

no, i got permanent braindamage because several bouncers assaulted me when i was defending myself in a club.

Turns out, some bouncer knew the guy i punched to the ground (in self defence) and all the bouncers suddenly jumped on me and didnt stop kicking me in the face even if i was uncuntious.
