  • Gffffff

  • Mackerel actually is an oily fish and a source of omega3. I tried ur method of cocking fish but it came out very unhealthy in the sense that it soaked most of the vegetable oil and became greasy. I don't think that this is the best or healthy way of cooking fish

  • Wash your face

  • love that blue in your kitchen! Gorgeous!!! And that meal ... speechless!

  • what is the flour for?

  • Omg! I can't wait to try this...Moroccan's make something similar with sardines and a mixed parsley/cilantro, and spice mixture called charmoula...

  • i love your recipes, there so simple and i must try them. thanks

  • Hi. Can you fry it like this for fish stew?

  • @kashiono Thank you for your comment. Yes you can add the fried fish to your stew. I found this is particularly good for keeping the fish from breaking up easily in a stewing pot. Enjoy.

  • Chichi you are doing such a good job, Years ago I had a Nigerian friend and she would cook all these things, thanks to you I can now make them for myself. Your smile makes it easy to watch, keep it up.

  • delicious!

i'm going to the fish market to try this!

thank you so much chichi! GOD bless you!!!

  • Hi Chi Chi. Another simple to follow recipe.

This video appears brighter and more defined. What video camera did you use?

Or is it just better lighting? Sending you lots of love for 2010!

  • am 100/00 african, and back home, no ring or so ever, like you alot and keep doing the good thing,

  • Hi Chichi whats the general seasoning you used, and pls can u show us how to make a vegetable soup Nigerian style.

  • weird

    is she brith or something

  • Youre the BomB!!!!! Love it

  • chi chi aren't your hands burning from the S bonnet pepper?

  • Hello lovely chi chi, nice to see u again

  • what type of fish do you need 4 this recipe

  • Any, mackrel, snapper, croaker etc

  • I really love mackerel but you can do this with any type of fish. I always consider how bony a fish is and the less bones or fines bones there is in a fish, the more likely i am to enjoy it without the anxiety of getting caught out. Filleted fish is wonderful for this too. Enjoy

  • what are all the items needed for the fish to marinate in

  • ah Chichi u have done it again. i always wanted to know how to cook NICE fried fish. Have u ever been to nigerian/african resutants and they serve a whole fish? If so do u use the same marinate and would u also use Makarel.

  • @PrincessNUN hi, the whole fish would most likely be tilapia. U can use the same marinade but its gonna be a bit soggy. I would say make slits in the fish, season it with maggi, garlic, and other desired stuff, put in bag and let marinate from at least a day or two- this is a whole fish so u want the spices to really permeate. Then bake in an oiled pan or grill. To prevent sticking when u bake, bake covered in abt 350 deg then remove cover, turn up heat and let broil till brown and crispy.

  • ..very nice,thank you sister!!!

  • Keep them coming. Great recipes. I enjoy watching them all. Thanks!!!

  • looks so yummy...

  • Looks delicious.

  • looks delish! i'll be making this

  • I will try, looks easy and good:)
