I had the brown one I don't remember what it was called though. This brings back so many memories for me. The pound puppies they are showing now,are nothing like what it used to be. At one point they had the re-runs for the pound puppies on boomerang not anymore though. :( I wish they would show it again.
There was a sentimental spirit in the '80s which I miss. This commercial is a great example. Pound Puppies were very significant to me, and still are, as they were a part of my childhood.
Even as a kid I thought that guy's voice was sappy.

yeah too cute i have one of the new ones i have the beagle i named him mike pound puppies are so cute and cuddly!
