  • i though it was like a courthouse in dc or something. i wonder how much pull it would take to play a show in a courthouse. id see minor threat in a courthouse. just to see shit get broken. the evens is far too mature for all that hoopla. but i was still shitting myself when minor threat came around. incidentally i have started doing that again.

  • was it a rule that you couldn't get up and swing your arms or something?

  • This band is too good to go a year without comments

  • that ian dude sounds like a retard, for real lol

  • isn't that their gimmick? they play weird ass venues. anyway, ian's like 40. whatever he's gotta do to spice it up after 25 years of playing.

  • haha, that's a bit why they do it. But the main idea is that they're sick of the idea of playing in clubs on a stage. How it's organized... tickets, bouncers, places, lights, action...cut, everybody get out. Ian compares it to a zoo exhibition, and they're the bored animals.

  • gotta love the evens. and ian

  • i saw them play in a church in louisville and it was amazing

  • i was there. you can see me in a stripey jumper haha. Yeah it's at a Salvation Army church centre on Oxford Street in London. Regents Hall is the name of the place. It was a very cool show.

  • I guess so. A friend of mine watched a The Evens show on a church, in England, I think.

    Anyway, really awesome.

  • Where is this at??? a church??

  • Wahey!

I can see myself sitting in the front row to the right.
