These upper delt lifts bother me, they're called "shoulder destroyers" and these ladies do them explosively and many reps... I really hope no shoulder problems later in life. I stay away from this lift.
as strong as these women are, why aren't they ripped? what i mean is they're clearly lifting heavy weights for which they would have trained to do but even then their muscles don't seem all that developed (except for the last woman who clearly has developed deltoids). maybe still a high body fat %?
@SangamEquilibrium - not ripped? I completely disagree. They all look amazing. This was also two years ago, some of these women now are some of the best athletes in the world!
@bodybyjay Well that's your opinion. And, i'm not trying to take anything away from these women - i'm sure they're much stronger then i am. But i'm looking at them from a perspective of surprise that they are training at such rigor and yet i've seen women who don't even do much compound exercises with greater looking and defined bodies.
@SangamEquilibrium The reason #1 is that they don't train for muscle size, they do strength-endurance and power type of workout which isn't a muscle size builder, it's more of a strength training. Reason #2 they don't specifically cut bodyfat to get muscle definition, as they're not bodybuilders/fig competitors and dieting is detrimental to strength performance
@SangamEquilibrium oh yeah, the reason #3 is a lot of those are natural and not on steroids, you're too used to steroid babies from figure competition shows and fitness modeling--natural women never look like that (unless they have undescended testicles)
i meant "rear delt"
