@blake1405 depends what sort of race, a 600 is generally faster on a track due to them been lighter and have a better cornering balance allowing them to carry more power through the corner and deliver more power at a higher RPM out of the corner, the 1000 only catches them down the straights because they have longer legs. but yeah a drag race the 600 has no chance.
