It's about zombies and has "Living Dead" in the title. And that they're "Return"ing from something we've previously seen. It might not have even been Fulci's decision to market it that way. Relax, man. There's nothing to rebel against here.
A lot of people blame Mattei for this movie sucking. While I'm not saying he was a great director, I do believe the whole thing was doomed from the get go. Even if Fulci had finished it, it wouldn't have been all that great IMO

The only reason why you and footbol didn't like the film is probably because you never watched Zombie 2 the first part and also because you know nothing of the director Lucio Fulci and because your not a fan of Horror film. You watch films for the entertainment not for the understanding of the director!
One of the worst zombie movies ever, if not the worst. Its very bad, there is a zombie jumping down from somewhere in every scene there is one. The acting is atrocious and I dont even remember if there was story somewhere in there.
Just watch the part of the guy jumping at the chopper at 1:50 that should tell u everything. The zombies have horrible make each time they raise their sleeves you can see the regular skin tone!
OK i'll say one good thing about the movie it had crows attacking a bus
i agree with you that this is not one of the best, but still pretty good... and about what you say of the make-up, remember this is a extralow-budget movie...
this film was only started by fulci, the rest was made by bruno mattei...

Shitty movie, but still good to watch. There were some awesome characters like the squardron of dudes with gas masks and guns. Also, the mixture of fast and stronger zombies with the usual slow witted and moving ones. I liked the ninja Phillipino zombies and the stronger machete wielding one!
zombie 2 never said what caused the zombies to come alive and this 1 explained it all
